Excellent playing! Not enough people covering Crimson/Fripp songs on here but that’s probably because Fripp is from another dimension. I love how he can go from fuzzed out whole tone/diminished avant garde stuff to the most beautiful soaring sounds in an instant.

I worked for 2 years to produce a passable bass cover version of Starless only to have it expunged by the Copyright Machine Overlords. As a beginner bassist this nearly crushed my soul, as seeing Tony Levin and King Crimson live in 2015 was my inspiration for learning the bass to begin with. Perhaps this is why we can't have more Nice Things (i.e. Crimson Things) here on UA-cam?
Through this video, and the comments, I learned today that this is one of Fripp's " favourite personal solos". This gives me tremendous joy. It is such a tasteful and emotional solo. Una verdadera joya.

Hello! I recorded this with a Gibson Les Paul Studio and a Laney Lc30 amp. Distortion is from the amp. Nothing more than that!

Lo logré con la distorsión del amplificador Laney, utilizando el micrófono del mastil y el tono cerrado. Además del vibrato para mantener el sustain natural de la Les paul.
