The instructions don’t make this clear but in cab mode the arms actually peg down on the bottom of the inner chest piece. The hands have a rectangular hole for the peg on Orions inner chest.

In vehicle mode the hands are ment to go in the Orion's chest cavity
If the Combined version has loose ankels, pull the ankles back until you hear a soft click
