I have stayed in my girlfriends village in the Kalasin area. The last time was for a month in 2022. The daily routine was to feed the fish in the pond, take the Buffalo for a walk to eat the grass. Have breakfast, then feed the chooks and ducks. The highlight was going to the local market on a Friday evening. I did the village thing just to keep in the good books with my girlfriend. But in reality, I was bored out of my brains
@@gerhardsuijinda8895 I witnessed young people in the village high on Ya Ba. People riding their motorcycles at 3am at night, in the pouring rain, doing their drug runs to the neighbouring village Villagers drunk at 9am in the morning. I witnessed poverty. So yes, my standard of living and lifestyle in my country is better than the rural village life in Thailand.
I stayed in a small village in Buriram for 6 months .i got used to the heat and people were very friendly. My problem was the constant noise of young guys on motorbikes and blaring music. The noise from chickens and dogs i could accept .All areas of the village were noisy. If you live outside the village it is quiet but you risk being robbed unless you have high walls topped with razor wire. Also you need something to do. I fixed up the old house and rewired it but because of the heat i could only work early mornings .The rest of the day included a lot of reading ,shopping trips to the city and teaching my girlfriend to drive.
If you're wife live in your country but she doesn't like live with your family what you think ???? I live more than 28 years in Thailand with my wife children and family it's so awesome same live in Germany. If you don't like Thai style better you go back to your country . Good live have nothing to do with luxury. Sorry for my comment.🙏
Isaan by the looks of it , tried it for a while but too many chickens , dogs and they can't speak english . Boredom comes along quickly , its lights out at 8pm and beware of snakes ! . . . Chonburi's a better option . . . Lol
ive lived in a remote village here in Rural Isssn for over seven years. theres only one farang !! Me Sounds your being rather Pompous tbf, its what u make of it that matters...
As for staying in your wife's village house, I am in 100% agreement with you. I could not do it. Also, I have had enough of sitting around like a bump on a log when Jen visits her family and friends, some of whom can speak English, but don't.
If you want to know what its like to live in a rural Thai village, watch Deliverance. Countless western men have went to these rural villages and were never seen or heard of again.
Here in the States I've always been a bit of a country boy. I like to be as rural as possible with good internet, which is usally the outside of the suburbs. All the "Village life" videos I've seen alway seem to be about living with the girl friends family. I would really like to see what kind of accomidations you could get being single. Preferably renting.
Good video , if you want to survive in the sticks then you have to make you’re pad as comfy as possible, also helps if you’re into fishing and hunting.... and growing ganja
Soi 13 you were only a 2 minute walk down the road to the sportsmans bar, great for watching the Premier league and food is ok too. Just joined your channel it is interesting so far mate. A northerner living in Australia lol!
The govt give out incentives for farmers to buy agrucultural machinery to improve their output and make farmers lives easier. A big four wheeler is considered agri machinery so thai farmers buy a big 4 wheeler, which they use daily, a tractor would be only used 10 times a year.
