Seriously though, these are the best ways to save money. You're saving a lot when your trip hasn't even started yet. As for #3, personally I prefer hotel rate comparison sites like Staypia because they're more convenient.
You guys, it doesn't take a lot of money to travel. I went from Chicago to New Orleans for a two day vacation. The flight tickets were 24$ each for Spirit Airlines. The bus ride to our hotel was 1.50$, our 4.5 star hotel was 50$ per person, I spent less than 50$ on food, drinks, shopping and activities that weekend. So in total, it was less than 150$ for a 2 day vacation. I've done the same for a bunch of places. (New York, Atlanta, Miami, Vegas.) Do not let money hold you back. Use Groupon. Plan months in advance. Things don't have to be first class to be enjoyable. You don't need a luxury suite room to explore a new city you've never been to. Don't over complicate things, just go, get out there.
A few extras: make sure you get your immunizations up-to-date, especially if you are going anywhere in Asia. Also if you are renting a car make sure you figure out the insurance requirements. Also health insurance. Love the video!
one tip that i highly recommend when traveling, especially in more conservative countries, is to always know where the nearest US embassy is. since you are new to the area you most likely don’t know all of the laws of the country. so if by chance you break a law, get to the US embassy as quickly as possible. once you set foot in the embassy you are on american soil. and are safe. i would recommend having your ID with you so it’s easier for them but they can identify you if you don’t have it. going to the embassy also works if you loose your passport. if you are doing any sort of international travel i would recommend finding the embassy in that country.
@@lishhvlogs4128 find the embassy of the country you are from From Europe and traveling in the US then find the European embassy. From Japan and traveling in Europe then find the Japanese embassy
I admire you so much for willing to cover up when going to morocco. I dont think a lot of people realize that important part, especially when entering religious sites. love you tess!! Youre such an amazing human!
like the idea of 1 major thing for each day, so no being overwhelmed. clarifying you goal at the beginning of the planning. research the safety, research the local costum.
Hey just wanna say that I’m Moroccan and what you said about scams you need to be careful with taxis and shopping at souks and bazars that being said everything should be pretty good something else in case your vegetarian just make sure that your food is indeed végétarien as for Moroccans meat is more of a let’s say is a must in every meal but if u do eat fish we have the best selection ... good luck and happy travel
For those who don't travel a lot. And you are taking a spontaneous road trip with your car. I suggest that you have it checked to be safe to travel before going. My family has had sooooooooooooo many car problems on our vacations. We even had to buy a new vehicle once! 😅
I can’t wait to see the Morocco videos! I love the vlogs where you talk a little bit just to say what you’re up to, and then show your day with music! That’s most of your vlogs I think tho lol I have loved all of them! But I definitely like hearing what you guys are doing rather than just seeing!
I'm still watching your vid and haven't finished it yet but I already wanna say thank you for this! I have plan next year and it's a solo trip. And for someone who's travelling alone for the first time, this helped a lot. Thank you!!

Love the tip about researching common tourist scams. Wish I knew this one before my first trip to Thailand. Got charged to go to a waterfall that was just a dam with a pump aove it!
Me and 5 others are planning a Large trip to major cities in America, it cost about $15,000 per person. But I’m still figuring out how to save the most money per person. The funny thing is flight costs is the least of our worries $4000 each
My bf and I are planning a trip to Costa Rica for a week in March! I know you have been there a lot, do you suggest we stay in a few different areas or one place in particular? :)
Great information, and good in-depth tips. You covered the price ranges even! If you enjoy this kind of thing, would you be interested to review our travel planning software? It's good content for you, I'd be happy to cross-promote, and if it's even something that might interest you, we do have an affiliate program with top commission rates. But honestly, I'd love to hear what your thoughts are on the software. Please let me know if interested. Safe travels!
