Hi Dana, LOVED your video. I hope it goes viral b/c not only did you explain what you do to plan your trips; you actually did a tutorial 🤩. I too use a hardcopy itinerary. It's much easier to look at hardcopy than to see something on the cell. I thought I was old-school using paper, so I am looking into the Wonderlog app (maybe more trouble than just using Excel). I learned something new today (google maps save map feature) so thank you! Safe travels and enjoy your trip! 🥳💫💖

Thanks for this video !! I already used some of tricks you mentioned but.. you taught some great ones. Making the map is priceless. I always ended up with too many. Now I know I can make one map with everything on it. Changing the icon pic and colors also great. Rome 2 Rio is a great app also especially for Europe. Thanks again and have fun in Chicago!!

Hi Dana - our trip to Rome was incredible. Even thou we landed in Rome on October 7th when Israel was being attacked, we didn't let it ruin our vacation. We were just on high alert when we were in big crowds. All your tips came in handy & I learned so much. Now I'm back to refresh my memory cause I need to plan our 20 year anniversary for Sept 2024. With the world in turmoil, I'm not sure where to go! So frustrating. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us! @@DanaBerez

I have used Google maps for my trips too! Such a great tool. Are your maps private or sharable? I can only imagine how valuable your are! Or if there's a fee, that's understandable. You put in a lot of work!

This has given me some great ideas for our trip to Italy, especially using google maps. Thank you so much! One question, we will be traveling from Milan to Florence and then flying out of Venice. Is it better to purchase train tickets before we get there?

Dana, I have a question. Im confused about the ferry going from one city to another. We are traveling to Naples then hiring a private drive to Sorrento because we have an 18 hour flight however coming back we would like to go on the ferry. Do you know if the ferry takes 1 backpack or tote bag and 1 small carry on? We are not checking in at the airport and they allow 1 personal that fits under your seat and 1 on the overhead area. I don't know on a ferry and I have looked. It just says 1 luggage per person. If I'm going to have to pay 2 extra ferry tickets I might as well pay a private driver to go back to Naples. We are going 8/28-9/13. You might not know however you travel to Italy a lot so I'm hoping you know this information. Have a lovely day!! ps that might be a great content!! I pretty much do all the same things for my travel planning but I didn’t know the thing about not booking flights too far in advance! Also, how do you book reservations in advance in another country if they don’t take reservations online ?
Yes and email. If another language just google translate.
