Seeing this car triggered a flashback to the mid-1960s when I was just a young kid. Even as a child, I had a sense of the unlimited excitement of the '60s. Everything was going towards bigger, sexier, louder, faster. My dad had a 1965 Buick LeSabre 2-door and it was so long and sleek. I remember in 1967 hearing the radio in that car playing "Light My Fire" by The Doors, promising wild times to come. It was a great time.
my dad had one in the 80s....he was an older guy and got kicks out of smoking kids in sports cars, he said multiple kids pulled up to him at a stoplight wanting to buy the car on the spot.
My friends dad had one black & brand new in the day, I am 68yrs old now but can remember it's beauty & smell! Eddie's dad was nuts to let us out in it on the weekends....Ahhh...burning rubber with black beauty!👀
I tried to see the speedo, it looks clocked for 120. I was sure mine was 130. Drum brakes. yeah I know. This car had 445 pounds of torque. It was a monster on the highway. See the air cleaner cover? Anyway the needle would pin easily with still lots more movement available underfoot. 100 mph felt like nothing even to the point that passengers would hardly notice.

My aunt had one...I loved riding in it!
I have the same car, inherited from my grandpa, he converted it to a 4 speed. 11,500 Miles. Such a fun car to drive. Same color and everything
Je pourrais pas être plus d’accord! Elle est magnifique
WHAT?!
My dad had one in Maroon. Shift was on the column. My dad's pride and joy.

There is 1 of these in Wyoming NY!! Its original too rusty but trusty
I will take a 65 or 66 over a 67 anyway. 65 had straight lines and smooth side panels as to compared to a 67
