LaLaurie was a racist, sadistic, even psychopathic killer, but she made some relevant points in the end. Lots of people aren't sorry for what they do, they're sorry because people find out or they get caught, and even when they say the words deep down we know most people don't mean. But LaLaurie, she was honest about it, she wasn't repentant and saw no point in pretending to be. What does it tell you when the worst of humanity are more honest than everyone else?

She was evil to the core but she did make a lot of true points. Some people just aren't really sorry for the terrible things they do. They pander to people and apologise because it makes them look good and repentant which they aren't really. LaLaurie stayed honest till the end and never pretended like other people. Regardless, she got what she deserved. Special place in Hell for monsters like her.

Edit Kathy Bates played LaLaurie well too but it must have took a lot out on her to play someone so horrible.

I thought the same. It's such a shame the dynamic ended up this way. But I suppose LaLaurie had this end coming because 1) it's a horror story and they very rarely end happily anyway and 2) LaLaurie committed too many evil crimes in the past to ever truly be redeemed or saved. But I agree with you that their previous dynamic was almost "nice" and I almost made me wish they had returned to that.

Me too but I’m glad they didn’t because this adds a level of realism to a fading friendship, where you want things to work out but you both know it can’t because you and the friend are too different. Kinda like a friend who choose their addiction over their relationships with people. That’s what makes this scene effective and horrifying.

There is something about this show (up until maybe Hotel)
    I can’t pinpoint it, I can’t explain… the ‘thing’ just ‘is’.
This is all so well written, filmed and performed.
This was along with Freakshow the highlight of its being before it got hip to be on AHS.
    (No judging)
‘A world that makes promises it cannot keep.’
I still shiver every time when I think of it or look at it!

I really don't understand the producer of this show: Laurie deserved to suffer a lot for what she's done, every episode and even her death was disappointing. The producers clearly need scenario lessons or an update of their notions of the good and bad.

Worst part, she's right. All these people getting called out, cancelled, ruined. Sure, they got their punishment, but they aren't sorry.
And she's all high and mighty, until she's dying. Then suddenly that smug smile is replaced with fear. Same with all the rest of them.
Don't listen to these naysayers online, these people don't want to be sorry.

Can someone get me the score starting at 2:11?
Only parts of the full score are scattered al over the WWW.
This specific part is ominous not in a horror way to be scared or on the edge of your seat. It tells you someone or something is about to meet their/its maker.
    Any help?
