this was so fun to watch .I pick dandelion too from my yard , for my finches n crickets like it too I don't use pesticides either .disco shure is enjoying his new enclosures
Any dubia can look like that if you catch them within a few minutes after molting. Weirded me out too the 1st time i saw it too though. I thought it was albino or something, then couldnt find it in my roach bin only an hour later and wondered why. After that i started noticing them more and more, but they always go back to normal color when their exoskeleton finishes hardening up.
On the 4ft enclosure you do, but on the new 5 foot ones they have a place you could put cords through but also a snake could escape out of it as well so you’ll have to cover it somehow or drill holes. I put all my lights on top of the screen
I just have to throw out here that there is nothing wrong with buying a healthy good quality reptile from a local mom & pop pet store. Some even produce the animals at home & then sell them in the shop. You do have a point there is a ton of reptiles up for adoptions & rehoming situations.
@@ScubaX29Morphmarket is awesome for finding exactly what you want. Its even a great way to find local breeders in your area for almost anything. Its addicting though! Suddenly every reptile you've ever dreamed if owning is just a few clicks away. I got like 5 new snakes immediately when I started using it lol.

What kind of tortoise is Disco?
He is a Hermann’s ☺️
May I ask where you got the new bigger ecoflex enclosure?
Of course! I bought it off of Wayfair. You might be able to find it on Amazon too ☺️
I ordered the enclosure and stand! Excited.

This and if you're a to be first time reptile owner, I recommend buying from a reputable breeder because there's less risk involve.
