The scene where the guy is apologizing to someone named Sophie and that damn little girl jumped in the way to protect him, I thought the guy shot the vampire AND the girl. I was like, FINALLY. She had no business in following those two.
I was about to post the same... why the HELL would that girl follow those 2 around knowing how dangerous it is and she has no contribution... just gets in the way of everything. +
I always thought the girl was secretly possessed and acted as the eyes and ears of the main vampire antagonist which was why he was able to tell what was going on when his henchmen was defeated
If they had showed the enemy vampire stop the girl from falling it would have made more sense. As is there was literally no reason for the random little girl to care.
When I finished this game at the arcade for the first time (with 30 tokens in hand 😅) didnt realize the protagonists are also vampires by the finale and they end their immortal life by letting the sun kill them 😢
You know, in my opinion Guillaume, the guy who kidnapped Caroline the young girl in this game is the most evil character in the game because while the other members of Count Augustes' court and Auguste himself had redeeming qualities and tragic backstories, Guillaume had neither as he was already bad news before becoming a vampire by performing unethical experiments on humans which caused him to be exiled.
This game was fun. But damn that voice acting. These light gun shooters were a special kind of bad. Not that I’m complaining! It just adds to the retro charm. Also that one npc you saved was wrong. The hunters aren’t taking on the vampires with just a gun. They have 2 guns.

This game has few really good things going. I especially remember and really love each stage loading animation, it's quite brilliant.

I missed this game. Way back 2008, I played it in PS2 with my cousins and sibling. Very nostalgic age of PS2 era.
