- This video shows all of the playable & unlockable characters including all costumes/skins/outfits and guest characters and gameplay of each character in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 for Nintendo Switch. @@korya3570 Well, characters like Mario, Peach, Luigi, Daisy, and Dr. Eggman wear clothes because they are humans. Sonic and Amy Rose, hedgehog, Knuckles, echidna, Tails, fox, DK, gorilla, and whatever Bowser identifies as, I don't know, a fire breathing turtle with spikes on his shell. You get the point, they are all classified as anthropomorphic animals, well at least Sonic and his friends are.

They are okay, but sadly, seeing as the characters mostly wear the same outfit (the only difference being the color, as Mario characters have red while Sonic characters wear blue), it takes away from what makes each character unique,

Whoa, I remember seeing something like this in the first trailer for the game. I'm not sure who decided to put the characters into different outfits for certain events, but it looks like it was a cool idea. I like the Sonic characters most, but I like their surfing attires.

Finally, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and Dr. Eggman having their own specific costumes to use in this game like 100m Freestyle Swimming and Fencing like Yuri Lowenthal voicing Marth in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. (They will use their regular costumes at Dream Events, as their regular costumes were used in all events at the previous games; they will use new winter costume for the next Olympic Winter Games.)

I never realized how flat Peach and Rosalina’s chest is compared to Daisy’s
In Rio 2016 it's obvious Peach has gotten flatter while Daisy is the same and Rosalina has a slight bigger, I can see why Rosa is flatter in Tokyo 2020 since she's wearing a surfer outfit and not her leotard, Daisy however has a busty chest, guess she's been working out since Rio lol

London 2012 Had the same 20 characters here. Same goes with 2014, and 2016. 2008 was the only one with 16 characters.

Cream ,sticks, dry bowser, nabbit, birdo ,wave ,dry bones ,roy , toad, Omega and the miis. Those are all the characters that were cut
It's nice how Eggman Nega is the only one with different karate clothes. Like his clothes are in a negative filter. That's cool. I also like the idea of adding them swimsuits rather than swimming full clothed. Fits better this way.
Diddy Kong, Espio, Rosalina & Rouge should of been promoted to fully playable characters 🙄

Spookay Bits metal sonic could only directly talk in heroes, and als on the OVA movie there is some hinting toward some type of communication, but in all other games he either does not talk or just makes buzzing noises.
Yeah he kind of “reset” after heroes and reverted back into his less advanced fully talking form from then on
