I spent so long trying to edit preset titles or find one that does something similar to what I needed. This video showed me what Title+ could actually do, after a little bit of poking around the features I proceeded to create the exact thing I needed (with variants) in all of 20 minutes. Thank you so much for this!
Towards the end, when Casey goes "Let's take a look at that typewriter thing again...Wow! looks like somebody's really typing it...", in a softer mellower voice oozing with infinite patience and appreciation of the beauty of his craft and creations, it's like Bob Ross's spirit just entered him. I could almost hear Casey continue... "Look these happy texts... jumping around...moving about happily. Let's add a few more...shall we?"

I have something similar as the intro to my videos. I used keyframes and right crop so that I could synchronise the characters with the sound of a hammer strike. The sound file that I found also had the sound of a real carriage return/ line feed, so I sync'ed that with the text moving upwards. I also found a typeface named "veteran typewriter".
I'm having an issue, where I want the text to be a little faster (or shorter), and when I try to do this effect, it does not finish the entire text that I typed. It forces me to extend the text-note. Any help?
@@keane2160 this is old but I finally found a fix. You have to add the key note way before the end. Like almost at the middle of the text or maybe less.
@@gabea3848 Hi Gabe! Casey is great. I finally broke down and purchased a laptop that can handle Fusion a couple weeks ago. Good news is that it can handle version 17. Bad news is that it cost $2.1k and I now have to learn how to work in Fusion. 😜🥂

Thank you for the video, but if I want to make the text fade away at the end, how? there are options that I miss , I can't make keyframes to do the text transparent.
when I choose the titles+ option it automatically fades in and out for me? How do I fix that? My titles are vanishing far too quickly, they don't even appear fully written out because they're gone too fast :(
Hoping you might see this! I'm working with version 16 of Davinci Resolve because my graphics card is too old for version 17 or newer. I can't seem to get the write on effect to work, because when I click the keyframe button, it doesnt "clear" when I move the cursor down the timeline, it stays red and doesnt have the small triangle arrow you have after moving. So to me somehow its not sensing that I want to add a keyframe. I'm not sure what to ask google for help because I don't know much else other than the edit page. I tried following a tutorial for recreating this in Fusion and it was far too complex for me. Is there a clip time minumum for this feature?

Really sell the effect by using the sound library and adding laptop keyboard typing.
there's a way to put that blinking line effect?
Finish the opacity with the keyframe enabled and the increase it. I don't know a shorter way so I do it just like that.
