40:22 you are doing wonderful Ms. Megan! By looking at your life you have shown you are WAY more successful than most 29 year olds. I’m 35 and when I was your age my priorities and just way of thinking wasn’t anywhere close to where yours is. You’re a wonderful mother, you stand by your faith and beliefs and make your husband, family and home your number one priority. I’d say you’re leaps and bounds in the successful area.

also tell your kiddos what the weather was like the day they were born,what was blooming or what was producing in your garden ect.even though i'm shunned by my family for leaving the amish i still have many memories of my parents making comments about the day of my birth that will always be special to me.

I have my own espresso machine and the fact I can make myself a genuine latte every morning and it tastes better than any $6 drink I could get through a drive thru, makes all the difference in the life of a mom. Lol.

Seeing the costume for Fletcher brought back memories of our little boy when he turned three. We gave him a toy chainsaw which made all the right noises along with a hard hat. We have a photo of him "trimming" the lemon tree with his Red Band gumboots (a New Zealand thing) which my sister put into a scrapbook. Such lovely memories.
Hopefully it gets warm soon. This weather feels endless. There was very little snow but the yucky weather just keeps on going. You are a sunshiny spot on a dreary day. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. That quarter machine sounded like a slot machine!!! 😀

We love stickers- and as a mom anything “disposable” is a welcome gift. Seems like we just have so.much.stuff and any gift that can be enjoyed then tossed is welcome 😂
I have to say, "the guilt" I felt in tossing a gift as a child. I'm not a mom, but you can't KEEP everything. If someone gives you a doll or something, you feel like you have to keep it forever. Stickers are the best!!!

I always thought Mennonites sit at home and turn butter and grind the flour, and sew their own clothes…we are actually a lot alike! I’m a Slavic Christian and there are things that we do traditionally that are very similar to your culture… anyways love your cheerful personality!

megan, go to a walmart hair salon and buy you some Its a 10 brand keratin shampoo. I have a lot of hair. about 10 yrs ago, I had a bad surgery and I lost almost 50% of my hair. that brand of shampoo saved me. It's a little expensive but it will be worth it and you will see a massive difference. Your hair is basically Keratin. This shampoo is rich in it and no unnecessary bad things.

I'd say not to worry about it when it comes to stickers, it's up to the parents to guide or regulate that at home. When I taught Sunday school I gave them all the time and just said it right away that they needed to listen to their parents when it comes to playing with them. And I'd always let the parents know about it so they had a heads up before hand and then up to them how to handle it. I LOVE Alisa Childers!!! She is one of my go-to podcasters and apologists!

I think it was funny Megan about your pizza. My sister and I used to order a double mushroom with extra cheese pizza and everyone thought we were silly. Good to see that without mushrooms it just isn't a pizza. Love your denim skirt I will have to order one. God Bless. Long time fan

I love Mama Bear Apologetics! I did it as a book club a couple summers ago with some church friends (I’m not a mom but I love apologetics so they let me join in lol!) Their podcast is pretty great too
