I saw an old episode of Y&R today with him on it. I got teary eyed. He, is truly missed, but never will be forgotten He was definitely one of my favorite actors on the show. Continued prayers go forth, for his family and friends. I wish I would have been blessed to meet him; to let him know how he touched my life and how he felt like family to me😢

She's on the Set and now she sees in her own way Mishael Morgan who in her own way is now the Top African American Actress on The Show but both Victoria Rowell & Kristoff St. John kicked the door open for the next Generation of African American Actors.

He really kicked the door open for Black Soap Actors on US TV. If Billy Dee Williams opened the Door at a crack as Dr. Jim Frazier on Guiding Light in the 1960's and Darnell Williams tore the Door open as Jesse Hubbard on All My Children, then Kristoff continued to carry the torch. For me, were it not for him, we wouldn't have had a David Grant, Marcus Williams, or even Remy Boudreau on Guiding Light not to mention Dr. Ben Harris on As The World Turns, Justin, and Zende on The Bold & The Beautiful.
I absolutely agree with you. He opened the door to a lot of Black Soap Actors. Shemar Moore's first episode on Y&R with Mr. Kristoff St. John was one of my favorite scenes. I am deeply saddened that we will not be able to see him. Mr. Kristoff St. John will be missed but never forgotten.

They are Nurses, Orderlies, Club Patrons, Police Officers and Judges & Lawyers but none do what Kristoff St. John did. He was the only successful Black Businessman on a Soap, he was on the Board at Jabot (The Only Black Man to do so), he knew not to bite the hand that fed him, he showed Black Love. He's like an Adopted Son because Darnell Williams & Tonya Lee Williams are both British Born. I would have loved for the Actors he worked with in Primetime to have said something. Cindy Williams, Ron Howard and Henry Winkler (Happy Days). He was living proof that some Child Stars aren't messed up by the system.
During Covid on The UK Soap Opera Eastenders, some of The Real Life Family Members did roles. Ian Beale (Played By Adam Woodyat) got arrested by his own Real Life Son. Luisa Bradshaw-White (Ex Tina Carter), got arrested by her Real Life Wife.
