Thompson used active clinch beautifully to recover and keep himself in the fight when rocked; but that Mayweather style, duck below the waist entry style only works if you have gloves as a shield, and Mayweather reflexes- sadly, Thompson has neither.
He’s not short on courage though 👍

Good hands but his opponent was very poor technically. The lunge down and leap forward attack is basic 101 fighting that doesn’t carry to higher levels.
You just catch them coming in with right hooks and right upper cuts and wear the down.

A great fight with two genuine men. Thompson looked heartbroken to loose.
Thompson looked to have the heavier hands. But he leaves himself in the pocket too long without posing a threat, and doesn’t use effective foot work to get himself outside of the line.
The duck down and leap forward attack only works at lower levels of fighting.
How can you say he has heavier hands? All he threw were rabbit punches tithe body in the clinch
Thompson is an absolute warrior. However, Grant has tremendous hand skills!!!! Respect to both of them!!!!!

jarod appeared to not escalate himself to the degree of travis, stay composed and reserve his explosions and it worked. travis made good efforts at times throuoghout this fight.

The first punch didn't connect also a low blow happens sometimes in sports like this and when they do they don't get disqualified because its a accident the most they'll get is a point taken off which didn't matter in this fight because it got stopped by the ref
