To be honest, there are very limited materials to study for the challenge exams. Personally, I would not be challenging any exams because I feel like if there aren’t enough materials to study, I might as well register for the full PEP courses
ACCA has destroyed my career in my own country and now the same will happen after I move to Canada soon looks like. No body should do these international qualification rather doing local chartered qualification is better☹☹☹☹
I totally understand, but the road to CPA is totally worth it. If you see yourself becoming a leader within an Accounting/Finance department, then it’s important that you take the exams.
My acca membership comes after 3 years experience. Should I show my experience again for CPA? I'm not sure I will be able to get the PR filled again by my previous employers😢
Hi Prakash, I apologize for the late reply. You can always show that your qualifications are in progress and attach a copy of your transcripts as evidence.

Hi, I am so sorry I have been away from this platform. To answer your question, yes I got a job simply with my ACCA, but I will be honest with you my working experience played a huge role in helping me land my first job in Canada.

@@pickingupthepieces03 if you’re aggressive enough and your CV is properly done, you should be able to get a junior accountant/entry level accounting position in the industry or accountant at an audit firm. It’s all perspective.

To be very honest, it totally depends on your capacity and how busy you are. If you are 9-5 person like me, it could take at least 1 year.
