That’s exactly what happened to me man all of a sudden she popped up on my I don’t know if it was my Google page or my UA-cam. I think it was my UA-cam because I was looking at MMA fights like Valentina so then all of a sudden I see this Dakota girl pop up, but I’m like oh she’s gotta be like suck because of the way she looks and I was like she’s youknow beautiful looking blonde. I was like let me play or fight and I mean I played one fight and I was like I ended up. I think I’ve watched like five years ago. I watched some of her old Thai fights.

Y'know, her staying at the lower levels in MMA for a little longer rather than rushing up toward the top was really smart. She was already a world-class striker with that Muay Thai background, but going up against grapplers and learning to defend against them just makes her that much better.

To be fair, I don't think she has had much competition. Her kicks are plenty powerful, but she looks a tiny bit shakey on her legs a few times, just momentarily, but I think if she meets a fighter who can hold their own against her, and go the distance, she will tire and weaken a lot if she doesn't work on leg strength and endurance more. Other than that though, no notes.

I think it's aided by her innate, or long developed ability to anticipate the momentum, inertia, during movements and collisions, to be where she needs to be to strike, at the right time. She showed this in spades a couple of times in this clip where she was allowing her opponent to bounce back into her range via the cage, rather than just dive in as many do. She's an elite striker in terms of percent targets hit from myriad positions. Her power is pretty good too, for her age and size. But power into mostly wind is wasted effort. Dakota is superbly efficient.

Damn, she's like Joanna 2.0. Her Muay Thai is such a treat to watch. And you know a striker is special when they have several body KOs. The way she grew in her ground game and takedowns is also impressiv. She could end up being in GOAT territory one day.

@@snailcage depends on her contract. If she becomes a champion or a marketable contender in the ufc, she will make way more money. Ufc is the pretty much the only combat organization where u can develop your brand worldwide and be set for life. If you're not the in ufc, nobody will ever know who you are (when taking into account the normies and non-mma fans worldwide). Plus you have the whole legacy thing, and proving you're the best in the world. We will see her in the ufc more likely than not.
