I honestly think that these end up being the “most hated” because a lot of these got heaps of hype and people were disappointed when it didn’t work for them.
When you try something random and it doesn’t work, you might not “hate” it as much because no one is telling you it’s their holy grail

Seriously. I watched this thinking, “is this a joke?” I’m not a beauty influencer, and I have to work really heard to afford nice makeup so hype doesn’t really factor into the equation. I have tried several of these products and for the most part several of them are worth the hype.
I feel like this was more like “products that are OVERHYPED or not worth the rave” rather than the “worst products”.
Agree with this eg shape tape is waaaaay overhyped but I definitely dont think it's a terrible product
Can you do more shop my stash videos, I love seeing you shop in your stash for different looks/themes. I thought of one theme could be alphabetical like the shade names of everything so a primer that starts with A then foundation that starts with B, so on and if you can’t find one you go to the next letter. I thought it would be interesting to see if it comes out really good or a huge fail, all the best to you hope you are staying well.

Omg Homis, heck yes. I am an absolute makeup lover. Have a huge collection and spend hours watching UA-cam…BUT for the last while during the pandemic - like you said - my place mentally has not been ideal and, for whatever reason, I wasn’t inclined to play with my makeup until recently because my desire to do so is finally coming back. 🤗

For the Born this way foundation, I can't find a shade to match me. I couldn't even determine if I like it or not because the colour was so off, also It oxidized so bad on me. The Shape Tape is just too heavy for me. The Airspun is SO fragranced it gives me a headache and makes me look dusty AF. I don't mind the Mac fix plus.
I'm the same, looks orange on me. So frustrating because the finish looks beautiful on my skin but several shades just don't work

I bought a ton of the Jeffree star highlighters back in the day too, all gone now but to me they were so so THICK on the skin and left a cast no matter what colour and the formula itself was too thick for my liking, hard to pick up and apply in a nice way.

I love the Born this Way foundation and concealer but I think the undertones are way too yellow! I think that's why people don't like it. I actually love the Coty Airspun powder, but people don't like the scent which is understandable lol They sell an unscented version though!! I never had an issue with the Tarte Shape Tape
the benefit porefessional is one of a few primers that actually does something else except hydrating and glowing, I feel on the market are just hydrating and glowing primers so as a make up artist on clients I like to use cause it really blurs pores... I also really like the milk hydro grip for a really longwearing make up and the first aid beauty the matte primer is nice for oily skin... other primers for me can be replaced by moisturizers...

I LOVE the mac prep and set spray!!!! It’s greats for dry skin!! Really melts the makeup in, I’m assuming people with normal/oily skin don’t like it? But for dry skin omg great!!!
I think the other issue is people expect it to make their makeup last longer when that isn’t it’s purpose. I had this issue a lot when I worked there, people wanted to return it because it didn’t keep their makeup on but it’s mostly to hydrate and set powders

I think the reason you’re so surprised about peoples votes, are they aren’t necessarily picking the WORST thing they’ve tried, they’re picking the one they were recommended, spent probably more money than normal on, and then ended up hating. They’re picking the most disappointing one! I know thats how i felt about the toofaced foundation. Just a thought!

I still use LashBlast - still one of the best mascaras I’ve ever used! So affordable! Cruelty free! And honestly makes my lashes so god dam long! I live!

Shannon, I completely agree with you on the Born This Way foundation. I don't wear base often because my natural skin is nice and it's really hard to find a match for my pale skin with cool undertones. I was able to find a match in Born This Way, it doesn't feel heavy (at least how I apply it), it blends nicely, and sets well.
I love the benefit hydrating porefessional primer over the original. I feel the original is sub-par compared to the hydrating version.

I think some of these are "hated" now because they don't do what today's trends are. The Born This Way foundation was literally everyone's favorite a few years ago, but the finish it gives is completely different to what people like these days.
I have had so many kylie lip pencils fall.apart its unreal and their customer service basically told me too bad 🤷♀️

It is too thick, full coverage, and drying for me. Even when using only a small amount.
Shape tape does not always work well for older or drier skin. I think that might be the problem. I think if I was younger it might be fabulous on me.

I feel like the primer, foundation, and eyeshadow used to be everyone's favorite!! And now since more makeup has come along, people think it's the worst makeup now. I don't feel like this is products people have tried and hate. I think it went from love to hate because of new products.
I’m kinda on the paler side and I just feel like Hoola pulls orange on me. It’s definitely not the warmest bronzer I’ve used, but I just prefer something more neutral/cool I guess.

Tarte shape tape is soooooo cakey on me, even if I use the tiniest amount. I hate it so much lol
The tarte concealer was too drying on me. Looked amazing when applied but about an hr on me it would cake as I have very dry under eyes so not good for the dry skin

Gonna share my opinions on these! I love knowing peoples favourites and least favourites. So interesting what we all prefer or what just doesn’t work for us
Primer: I have this primer but I don’t reach for it, so maybe I don’t like it 😅 I prefer hydrating or illuminating primers. When I want a pore filling one I reach for my tarte potted one. Least favourite I’ve tried recently is the stila kitten primer! I love the original but the kitten one has too many harsh glitter bits in it
Foundation: I’ve never tried it but a friend years ago in high school used it and I never had the heart to tell her it didn’t look great 😅 it would oxidise so much and looked too matte. But I suppose that’s a personal preference! Don’t think I’ve tried one I don’t like though. Just have absolute favourites
Concealer: never tried the tarte, but least favourite was the maybelline fit me I think. I barely use/try concealer so don’t have much experience with a lot of concealers. Love the nars matte one though, it’s a new fave!
Under eye powder: never tried it or any I think?
Face powder: I used to love this powder actually! I think I stopped using it because my preference in makeup changed and prefer a less matte look, and a coloured powder
And unfortunately I haven’t tried any of the others except lip injection which I love. Don’t use all the time but I do like it!
I will say with setting sprays, I’m starting to hate my urban decay all nighter. I feel like it’s coming out splotchy and too wet, and will leave marks on my face. Never had an issue with it for years though?? My current bottle isn’t old either. No idea what I’m doing wrong with it 😭
Luckily enough I haven’t had many bad experiences with makeup. Due to reviews or probably just luck of the draw 😂

I love the Kylie blushes, too faced foundation is my favorite even though they seem to go orange idk and the Hula bronzer idk I’m shocked at these hated products
I love the smell of the Airspun powder. The smell is so nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood and my grandmother. I don't know, even my mum smelt my face and felt soooooo nostalgic and made her happy. It just depends on how it triggers you, either you love the smell or hate it. I will have to admit that it's a little strong, I wish it was less but even that, I don't mind it when it lingers on my face all day. Makes my heart warm and fuzzy

Lol I never wear a base or foundation like ever, but when I was into that I lovedddddddd the pore-fessional. Im super oily and that primer actually makes me look matte and not like an oil slick. Super funny how products vary from person to person
I agree in almost everything, except the Tarte Shape Tape concealer! As someone with super oily skin I have used Shape Tape on my undereyes and all over the skin and it has remained on for about 10 hours! No other concealer has done that for me and I have used many maaaaany concealers!

The setting powder is best when you use I very sparingly. It lasts forever and is my favorite. I use it only under my eyes and my t zone.
I feel like most of the products are more so over hyped than THE WORST….. but I guess if you don’t try a lot of different products, it makes sense that you would only try really hyped products. So if you’ve only tried three different concealers, it’s not too weird that shape tape is the one you hate… you know? Idk, haha
Born this way foundation slides off my face, I have oily skin but I’m sure it’s great for drier skin types
I love the benefit pore fessional because it blurs my acne scars. I have cystic acne and it left holes in my face and that product softens them. Also helps my makeup glide on smoothly.

I definitely agree with the Born this way foundation. Again it totally depends on your skin type. This foundation is the worst for oily skin, totally separated on my skin and made me look disgusting lol. Therefore I like the matte version better.
I think that the tarte concealer is great to cover discolorations and breakouts! I use it everyday ;) If you pile it up under your eye area it won’t work for sure though! It is too thick and dry for that use :)
My great gran used Cody airspun back in the 90’s. I remember she had the most soft, velvety wrinkles. She always wore makeup.

def don’t agree with Porefessional... Everyone hates it but makes my face look flawless. It also doesn’t disturb my foundation. My least fave primer is NYX Bare With Me Hemp Primer. I HATE IT. My foundation looks shit on top.
I agree with the Too Faced Foundation. It literally wipes off my face, even if I set it. Its also really dry.... I felt robbed after all the influencers recommended it.
And Hoola is the best. so i dont know whatsup with that lol
😂Not the 88 Coastal Scents palettes! That took me BACK. Eyeshadow quality has gone up, I think, since the Naked era.
And I'm one of those people who dislikes OG Hoola. Too orange for me - and I have a medium skin tone! Perhaps my undertone is too neutral for it.
I completely agree with you about the Porefessional!!! It works well....but the texture is just ugh! I prefer the Tarte putty primer, it's beautiful. I like the coverage of shape tape but it's WAY too drying for my eyes, it causes my eczema to flare up. My new Holy grail is the Lancome Teint Idol. The Airspun literally gives me a migraine from the awful "fragrance ".

I didn’t think much of the porefesional it was nearly everyone favourites but I didn’t like the finish or the feel of it,
I like the Kylie formula and kkw but my pencil always falls out of the tube and it's annoying af. I've started enjoying huda more and then I tried Charlotte tilbury and I love it. I like the liquid lipstick formula because it lasts and every matte liquid lipstick is drying imo.
I used to LOVE the Too Faced Born this way foundation. But I feel like some people didn’t like it because it has coconut and it breaks some people out.
I loved the dewy finish and the second skin, but its holding powder wasn’t the best for my oily/combo skin. Their soft matte version I adore tho! I love the soft matte finish and it holds my oils in (after powdering) for hours 🤍
The colourpop Liner isn't bad. The one that I hated so much was the Nyx Epic Ink. It bled all over. The number of times i had to literally wipe off an entire face of makeup because it bled on my shadow, into my eyes... 😭 the worst.
So many people tell me they dislike the shape tape and I’m like wow cause it’s super hyped up! Also the loose powder gives me soooo much back flashhh I hate it 😣🥴
I don't understand why you use clips in your hair to "hold your hair back" but yet you always have to move your hair out of the way when you're doing your makeup. 🤷🏻♀️
I used to love urban decays naked palette in highschool but now I cringe when I look at the price 🤣 $65 + tax for an eyeshadow palette that barely has product in it. Sure the colours are absolutely stunning but morphe has the exact same shades but in a bigger palette. Also more variety of colours that I can choose from! Maybe that’s me being petty but I hate spending $65 on one item makes me feel gross…
I think the reason a lot of people said they hate these products is just that a lot of people have tried them because they are so well known. Therefore the absolute number of people disliking them is naturally going to be higher, however the relative amount of people is probably low. If 100% of people hate something but only 2 have tried it it‘s only going to come up as an answer twice 🤷🏻♀️
These are things that didn't live up to the hype. I want to hear about the stuff people thought was bad. I tried a clean ID quad from cartrice and it was crap. The colours looked pretty in the pans but on the eyes they were so dull and murky and they just ended up looking like a wash of colour. And the Jeffree Star bullet lipsticks are so dry. You can get better lipsticks way cheaper.
I had to pause the video to say I am so offended that Nars Climax won the worst mascara vote 😂 I love it! And it holds up to a good cry really well in case anyone is looking for a mascara you can cry in. The Nars Climax Extreme sucks though.
I think my least favorite eyeshadows in general are probably morphe....I just don't understand how people are still loving them and I hate their inability to do a purple well. There was recently a collab palette they did and I love the color story but I have to remind myself I don't like it. I don't like makeup revolution formulas either but I do have a makeup obsession palette I like and they're a branch. I don't like the old kkw formulas and haven't tried anything new. But, but the urban decay prince palette was a serious let down
I actually love all of these and a lot are my favs like the Mac fix plus .. born this way foundation .. fenty highlighters .. I like the Kylie blush..
It's ok to talk while you're doing a video just don't keep stopping what you are doing. You are talking way too much. Please just keep going.
Majority of people use too much Tarte shape tape which means it will look heavy and cakey. It's a full coverage concealer, a lot more pigment in that small tube than a full coverage foundation. Use sparingly, aka one dot and blend out. That's all you need. Ive been using it in for years but the tube lasts forever as you need so little product.
Kylie’s blushes bronzers and highlighters are weird colors very weird and the blushes are very pale

Coty Airspun is my absolute holy grail powder. I’ve been using it for at least ten years by now. I didn’t realize so many people disliked it.
I like the foundation as well as the concelear. I guess people don't like the finnish or don't know how to blend ( they are heavy, dry fact, not the no makeup look). The bronzer is not for me tho. Bc of the color, it's orangy.

I love the MAC Fix plus mists for the dewy look, the Kylie lip liners as they are so creamy which I like and the Fenty Killawatt highlights, which I have two off. I'm surprised to see these get in the most hated list, they're in my favourites list lol

The fenty highlights I have I really like. I got trophy wife in a glam box or boxy charm or something and I hated it but I'm fair, it's not made for my skintone lol. I love the white diamond bomb thingy so much on my fair skin.
Awwwww i love the born this way foundation though? 😩 its probably one of the not many foundations that looks like skin on me kinda lol! But it was interesting watching this, loved the concept!
My least favourite eyeshadow palette has to be the bperfect carnival palette, idk if it’s just my palette but loads of the shades are just patchy, not very pigmented or just not a nice consistency:((
I’ve always hated Hoola bc back when everyone on UA-cam was using it, they only had one shade and it was nowhere near dark enough for me so I felt excluded lol 😭😭
