Ikea makes me thankful for the old furniture I have. I'm elderly and tall. My couch cushions don't hang over the couch, it is not low to the ground and my lazyboy is over stuffed and comfortable. My bed is old and my mattress after all these years, is still comfortable and not low to the ground. I know I'll keep what I have, they just don't make anything like they used to.
