Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly - stay alive.

I think it’s hilarious how toxic trash killer players complain that survivors are op when they maybe face a swf once out of 10 games. Meanwhile as survivor we are being hard camped and/or tunneled in every game we play. And what do these moronic devs do?? They buff these broken killers even more. That patch over the summer ruined this game. Haven’t touched it since.
It's actually so powerful that everyone recognizes Nicolas Cage, uniting survivors in the realm is very useful to overtake the entity, if that ever happens in the lore

I don't know about anyone else, but the Entity claws on Claudette were absolutely amazing. It was like I was watching a much more realistic version of a Dead by Daylight trial. Bravo to the animation team, y'all did an amazing job with this trailer.
It's cgi. What does it matter if it won't look like that in the actual game play.

I genuinely think this is one of the best trailers for DBD, not as in a trailer for a specific chapter, just a trailer for the game as a whole.
This animation is so realistic! Teammates crouching in corners while the killer camps and slugs and survivors giving up on first hook, all while the last survivor is walking around just to save sprint burst.

Holy shit dude, the CGI and camera angles in this trailer are magnificent! Hats off to the animation team on this one! Nic and the original cast all look fantastic. Makes me excited to see what the future holds for this game and its graphics.

@@Morec0 No no, that one's got a point. This is the first time we actually get someone as an actual "cameo" sort of role that is playable in the game. Someone who is "real", and isn't just one of the characters they've played in the past. This is actually unprecedented for this game.
He also says that “even after all the death, decay, and darkness, I still remember exactly who I am” which implies that he’s immune to the Entity’s power in some way. Normally, when a Survivor dies or escapes the Trial, they lose their memories of what happened. It’s to keep their hope alive and allow the Entity to feed off of them, making it seem like escape is possible only to end up back at the campfire not remembering what happened. But with this trailer, it seems like Cage is immune to that and remembers everything. It could show that the Entity is getting weaker, and people are slowly but surely able to do things that it once prevented or stopped outright. We saw this with Ash being able to speak, and as time has gone on more and more characters have retained the ability to speak in some form (Nemesis, Wesker, Thalita/Renato, Singularity, the RE survivors, Ashy Slashy, etc.)
I love how this canonically makes Nic Cage that guy whose whole team is on first hook, one of them in second, one of them about to enter second hook, you have like 2 gens done and he's still walking everywhere so they don't leave scratch marks
I love Nic Cage’s backstory for coming into the entity’s realm, it just goes to show that the entity’s power stretches out far and wide, even to our own reality and can pull things from our real world into the trials. Can’t wait to see if we get any other celebrity cameos in the game 👀

They should do a story how Cage is a survivor then turns 2 a killer/villain & he can play the Face Off character & then Travolta comes in as survivor & a perk should def be named Face Off where it tricks survivors 2 think that killer is the survivor
this unironically an excellent trailer not just for nick cage, but for dead by daylight as a whole.
Perfectly depicts the average U.S. match. Claudette struggling and getting to second stage on the hook, Dwight bleeding out, Meg trying to do stealth, and Nicolas Cage as the guy who walks the entire match because he has Self-Aware.
The animation is amazing! The part where Claudette was on the hook looked really cool!
- One is on the hook for so long he reached the second stage,
- One looped around the hook and failed the save,
- Another one is hiding for no reason,
- While the last is walking saving up Sprint Burst,
- The killer is camping and slugging,
- And nobody is doing gens...

This trailer goes hard, I wish we could get a movie or series with this type of animation. One for each killer would be amazing.
Claudette is on the hook, Dwight is about to get picked up, Meg doesn't know whether to go for the unhook, try to give Dwight time to use unbreakable, or just wait for the hatch, and here comes Nicholas Cage walking in with the swagger of someone hopefully about to take the killer on the greatest chase of his whole career. Or maybe just teabag, go down, and DC.

His perks - slap the killer and stunning killer for 5 sec. If killer looks at you killer will get stun for 5 secs. If killer tries to down you first killer gets stun for 15 secs

@@Beessokoo1coo1 It's very toxic on both sides. But as a survivor, I constantly experience being tunneled or camped as a survivor. And I don't want anything like that anymore! Even at the moment when the 7th event was. In every round, as a survivor, I was constantly being tunnelled out or camped out, and so were the other survivors. I've really lost interest in this game. Corrupt intervention could also be mitigated by the way! But rather Dead Hard is weakened 3x in a row. No sorry folks. I say goodbye to this game. It really doesn't make any sense anymore...

His performance of Grug is what really brought the entity bring him in.

Nick Cage joining DBD is amazing to me. One, because a big name actor is joining the fun, which opens the way for other actors to join in, but also because he's been my favorite actor in several movies, not just Ghost Rider.

I LOVE how this is kind of an updated version of the opening trapper trailer you see booting up the game. instead of Jake getting chopped its poor dwight, and poor claudette STILL ends up on a hook haha, the animation was great!

Im on console PlayStation. Ok now im trying to get into dbd but it won’t let me ever since the update came out on my main PlayStation account in which I spent money on in game. Every time I try getting it I get stuck on the “installation complete” it says that but I can’t move forward into the game but when I’m on my other account I can get passed it just fine I don’t know what the problem is
Please add some survivor like Sidney or Casey Bakerfrom Scream. & Sally Hardesty from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Also Dough Wood from hills have eyes 2006.
