Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly - stay alive.

I love the way Ripley reacted to the alien in this, no horror or screaming but immediate action and reaction, this is not her first rodeo and she knows what she’s doing, always good to see more veteran survivors added to dbd
Yep, that's exactly what I was hoping to see from her lol. She barely bats an eye, just all pragmatic survival. Ripley really is one of the best horror protagonists of all time, right up there with Macready from The Thing.
One of the strengths of the first three movies is her terror. She's not a Mary Sue. So she absolutely should be screaming or looking scared. Have you not seen Aliens or Alien 3? She's still scared of them.

I remember as a kid my family would bust out our Aliens DVD collection, pop popcorn, and gather in the living room to binge the whole series. Those were great times and made me an avid fan on the franchise along with H.R. Giger's work. Least to say I am incredibly excited for this. Though I can't say I am a huge DBD fan, I hope this turns out well!
Same, except for us it was the VHS tapes not DVDs. I still remember I always closed my eyes at the chest bursting scene when I was a kid.

I love how they always show the dynamic between the killer and survivors in the license chapters. It’s nice to see people actually know what they are doing and not just scream and cry a lot.

Dude this trailer is actually so sick, seeing that they mimicked the movement of the xeno from the movies for the trailer is just beautiful. I feel they also were able to portray how Ripley would try to escape another close call with a xeno, using anything in her path to delay the creature. Well done bhvr truly a masterpiece of a chapter

As someone who hated the meta it will all go down as cool memories in the future like the stress, broken perks, new killers, mechanics, 4Ks, wins and everything this game had to offer

I don't play the game, but whoever did this trailer is a damn fine job. This played out almost like a movie. Serious props.
I'm extremely new to Dead by Daylight myself. Now, I've been watching content on it for about 3 years, but haven't played it myself until very recently. I have maybe...3 hours of gameplay. This has me super hyped and excited. Now, I don't think I personally have enough time put into this game where anything I say is useful at all, but this is awesome.

What I REALLY love of this cutscene - All the 10/10 professional work and dedication on it; visuals/environment/lighting, animation, sound design and music! And, unfortunately, this Ripley looks so scared and vulnerable (just like in the first Alien movies) And that's not a bad thing! Especially near the end, Ripley anticipates...The Worst!
This trailer is so well made. It makes it even more exciting to know that this is finally happening and coming to the amazing Dead by Daylight game. Props to BHVR and their developer team!

I never get tired of watching this trailer, the music, the dynamics of the video is glorious. Although Ripley doesn't look like the original actress, Nicolas Cage looks like the same actor, it's a beautiful trailer.
It's been over a year I last played DbD, this chapter is bringing me back to the fold. Damn you BHVR.

This trailer is so cinematic and well-made; it's entertaining and gives both the Xenomorph AND Ripley space to shine. You can tell BHVR was extremely excited to be able to do all of this, and I'm just as happy for them as I am for us lol

Developers, change the generator design on such cards. Old generators look generally detached on such maps, make it more modern in appearance.

Would be nice if you can send a face hugger like Victor from the twins and if it pounces on a victim it should be like the reverse bear trap from the pig, a timer before a chest burster kills the victim. It would also be cool if it can teleport to the hatch and pop out kind of like the dredge in the lockers.

I have been a fan of alien for so long and now they are putting it into dead by daylight I love dead by daylight. I can't wait!
I hope that we get as many maps and survivors as possible from the alien universe. The Nostromo is a good start, but maybe we'll get more.

I am excited to find out what kind of powers the xenomorph will have. Maybe stealth? Maybe an ability similar to the Demogorgon to travel/teleport through tunnels? Controlling facehuggers ? A Tailswipe?

play Isolation. DBD is not even close to the Alien gameplay of that trailer. As a killer its just running around breaking pallets and running in loops still the survivor makes a mistake

@@DannyFreddy as an avid player of dbd, I highly suggest you don’t listen to this guy ^ it’s only fun when you know how to loop, have good map knowledge, know what perks and addons that synergize well with each other, have good perks (which you need to buy and level up killers and survivors to get, the shrine is not consistent and a sad excuse for an alternative to mtx) most of the community is toxic, it’s gotten so bad especially recently, that if you win the other side shit talks you, if you lose the other side shit talks you, you so much as sneeze in their direction they shit talk you, and considering it’s four vs one, most of that toxicity comes from the survivor side which if you’re new, have fun getting destroyed for the first few hundred hours by people that no life the game, every match now just feels stressful, the games go by so fast now, especially when they add new op perks with each chapter (looking at you made for this…) it’s a fun game if you’ve played it for a VERY long time, which unfortunately it sucks most of the time it takes to get to that point, the balance is atrocious when it comes to certain killers, certain perks, and certain maps, on top of the fact bhvr refuses to do anything about it until years later, a perk called dead hard ruled the game for YEARS with nerfs only coming last year, the game is a shit show, and I highly recommend you stay away.

The fact that one player can basically decide if another player can actually play and enjoy the game is unfair and total BS. If a killer player decides to camp and tunnel a survivor they literally can deny that survivor the ability to play the game. That is wrong and needs to be stopped immediately. And BHVR actually allows it to happen. “It’s a strategy” that’s BS and everyone knows it. But yet killer mains will be the first ones here whining and complaining how OP survivors are. Absolutely mind boggling how entitled killer mains are.

I love the Xenomorph design they chose! A cross between the classis Xenomorph from the first film, and the "dog alien" from Alien 3. Pretty perfect in my eyes, and my hype is through the roof!

The very long digitigrade legs are a design started in Alien 3 (and toy lines), while the drone from the first movie had basically regular human legs, due to it being a costume and all. I actually have the dog alien action figure on my shelf right in front of me!

I love the nice Alien 3 reference with the perspective shot at 1:21. You can clearly tell the developers at Behaviour fans are huge fans of Alien and I really appreciate that.
Are we meant to believe that the Alien didn't know someone was standing there? The Alien in #3 certainly knew Ripley was there.
@@synthetic240it was distracted by a loud noise from the ship, and Ripley took advantage. One of the things that the alien films try to drive home the most is that the xenomorph is the perfect animal, but still an animal.
I think is canon that Xenomorphs are blind but can sense emotions and movements that it dose not matter that they are blind

I'm hoping for an Amanda Ripley skin for Ellen because Alien Isolation is one of my favorite games of all time. I remember watching a UA-cam video a while back that explains the Alien's AI in detail, breaking down everything about how it works, and I was fascinated by how intricate and thought out the Alien's AI was. If it weren't for that AI the devs designed, the game wouldn't have been the same at all.
The devs tailor programmed the AI to maximize immersion, as well as control pacing, suspense and pressure dynamically. The AI is even programmed to learn from the player's actions and adapt to the way you play and things you do (not a new concept at the time, but that on top of the tailor made AI just made the game even better).
I love Alien Isolation so much. It is my favorite horror game ever made, and definitely top five games of all time in my mind.

I want to give my opinion about the map and xenomorph. ( Yes, i have seen how they play on the PTB)
Honestly, im dissapointed.
I watched every movie with aliens xenomorphs and to see that the alien goes into a rabbit hole it kinda pisses me off, he used vents or other small tunnels but in the ship. I expected that he will move with vents and when he leaves it, he will drop from it or epicly come out from the vent like in the game Alien Isolation or movies.
Memento mori (im dissapointed too) i was expecting two types, one with tail and second with his mouth (the acid doesn't count because you can't hurt a killer). Only his power is awesome, hurting survivors with his tail.
The map... it was horrible except looking into sky, the sky was beatiful. I thought the map is gonna be a ship or other big closed place and not half open. I don't know why did you make a half open map but i think it was made to not see peoples comments where they complain about closed map.
I expected a closed map with vents or other tunnels from the ship, and for other maps he could move in sewers or something else, im not happy with current state of the tunnel.
