Im glad you mentioned that you're just not a person who has the bandwidth for deep connections because as someone who is a deep person, I expected this out of my own friends and acquaintances. Never really thought that people are just not interested in having deep connections. Im glad you've learned more about yourself and are hopefully doing better now!
I haven't seen a vid of yours in ages. You where the 1st ASMR person I ever watched. That was years and years ago. I know I've grown but so have you. Glad your still doing you and beating to your own drum. And I get it. I had a very toxic "friend" and also spouse I was finally able to shed. Yes we need to be at peace.
I cut off my toxic bff around 2019. I met them through an ex friend from hs. Long story short, I always helped her out whenever I can and I was always there for her. But I felt that she was never there for me like I was there for her. She was a trauma dumper too. It was so exhausting and I had my own problems too. My mom and I would give her leftover food bc there were never food sometimes in her house. She never wanted to do things for herself like for ex I would help her sell clothes on Facebook marketplace. I would post the listing for her but on my Facebook not hers. But I would include in the post that it was my friend’s. And her parents would get after her to get a job. She doesn’t know what a resume is. I had to do job applications for her. I was dumb af for doing that. But I wanted to be a good friend to her and i cut her off from my life for good when she was over at my house And she got a call from some number. She answered and guess what happened, it was the manager of this restaurant cause I got her a job as a waitress. She did the most ridiculous thing, she said no thank you to the manager and hung up. I was in shocked
