I play this at least 2 or 3 times a week. It's the perfect song that helps my grief 😔. It totally reminds me of my perfect Prince Charming. They DO EXIST. True. Thanks Ed.

I can honestly say Ed keeps the romance alive and he is a national treasure that needs to be protected at all costs!!! He can do no wrong! Gem of a musician and human being.

Oh my God that totaly made my day, my favourite artist on my favourite late night show, wow!!! I've seen Ed a total of 23 times, 21 in Australia and twice in the US, I'm going to all his concerts in Australia next year and seriously contemplating coming to the US too!! Still finding it hard to see Ed playing with a band but I'm kinda digging the different sound!!

Ed’s live performance is amazing as always, but his band accompaniment and back up singers are equally amazing with perfect timing throughout, making it a perfect performance. Happy that he recognized them at the end of their Celestial performance. 👏👏👏

Ed is one of those rare artists that still sounds wayyyy better live than recorded (Adele, Beyoncé for example). 👏 I don’t go out of my way to listen to him but when I do it’s always a jam I’m a fan
Imma be honest the album version is 3x better. This is wonderful but isn’t near as vibrant as the original. Typically the album version has multiple people spending tens to hundreds of hours perfecting the sound, that usually isn’t bested by a live band

What IS it about Ed Sheeran? Oh my god! I could watch him all day. Yes, it's the music, but it is very much his personality and energy too. His music IS him. More than most singers, he writes about his life, like a journal. I also, find him super attractive, the rest of you are frickin blind!! I have tickets to 3 of the mathematics tour concerts. Spent a small fortune. My first one is in Austin next week CAN'T WAIT!! and yes, Ed, I did start taking guitar because of you, although I'm far from an 11 year old!
You can really hear all the instruments coming together on this one.
I am very impressed that he used barre chords throughout the song. This gives a more percussive feel to his performance.

@@genesises I'm actually a guitarist and the reason I'm asking is because Sheeran has been playing for 20 years so barre chords are very easy for him and he isn't playing percussively at all so... I don't understand what he meant
@@tamasvarga9862 I have been playing guitar for well over 50 years. I was a singer first. Barre chords gives you more control over the strings and you can dampen those so that the strings don't ring. Try releasing the strings slightly between strums and engage just before your next strum. Without a demonstration as to what I mean, I don't really know how else to explain this. By the way, I can sing reasonably well and play guitar, also reasonably well, however, not well together. I have spoken with other musicians over the years and many report the same problem. I admire those, greatly, who can perform both at the same time. Anyway, I wish you well and enjoy your guitar playing. We all still have much to learn.
@@lasentinal I know exactly what you're talking about, and I can use it very well. but it still doesn't make it percussive. Percussive is when you slap or pat the strings like John Mayer does in Neon. No offense but I think you are misusing the word. Otherwise I agree with everything.
