Dragon Ball Z really wasn't about focusing on violence. It focuses on pushing yourself to your limits and beyond, to become the best you could ever be. Giving it all you got, then giving even more. It's never been about the blood and gore. It's about self motivation, and empowerment whether your motivation is good or evil, selfless or selfish. Be the best you could ever be in your own right.

Oh of course, I do admit the five episodes we finally get to see them duke it out was very satisfying. I want to see more fights like SSJ Goku vs Meta Cooler, that was a greatly choreographed fight, and the part where they are sliding backwards from all the punches they are throwing is freaking badass looking.
