Honestly I remember when I was like ten first discovering internet videos. AMV's like this kept me going back every day to my family's computer just to watch these awesome videos with killer music. This is how I got into music, and the internet- so videos like this were some of the first things that I encountered that began to mold me into my own character and being. Goku's fight with Kid Buu on the Kai's planet before he goes SSJ3 is one of the best examples in all of DBZ of his natural fighting instincts. Despite the power disadvantage, he still holds his own, and his moves and techniques just flow perfectly and are almost flawless.
I'm a 15 year old girl now and when I look back in my life I'd have to say that spending a good 2 years obsessing over Dbz with my twin sister who is now also 15 were the best years of my life. Dbz will forever and always be our favorite anime of all time!

Trapt by Headstrong is one of a few songs, that I can listen to 24/7 and don't get bored of it. I can't imagine my life without this song anymore. I heard many great songs, but this one was already after some weeks my third favourite song and now after some years even 2nd favourite. Even after so many months or even years this video still gives me goose bumps. Even if Buu arc was not my favourite you made it perfect cutting out some of the best parts of the fight and providing them with one of the best songs i ever heard in my life. This AMV is DBZ in a nutshell, about a fight with a strong villain, whom Z fighters can't even defeat with combined power. The best friends, who are ready to risk their life by beginning a fight or even sacrifice themselves (2:41), knowing they are not able to change something. And there is Goku, the one who is beaten to the ground like the rest of his friends, the only difference is, he is too headstrong to give up and stands up powering himself up beyond his limits (3:13).
I soooooo miss this show, me and my sister would record it on VHS and I would come home after a hard day as a second grader (ya I know...) and we would sit and watch it together....ahh...good times...

You guys aren't taking into consideration the fact that we're watching the raw version of it where as opposed to back when DBZ was released to the rest of the world the animation problems have already been fixed. Wait till they released Super in the states and the rest of the world and you'll see exactly what I mean.

I prefer this art style compared to the new Dragon Ball Z. I cannot stand the eye candy which the new DBZ offers. The old DBZ animation sets a realistic dark tone, but new one is just some kindergarden in paradise to much candy colour.
+Pepper Pig Damn straight. It looks way to clean, none of the battles feel serious anymore and Gohan somehow went from amazingly strong 'Buu Saga' to the weakest of all Saiyans. And DBS is set pretty much right after DBZ. New DBS's visuals feels like watching someone play a DBZ game. And i wonder if any of the future battles in Universe 7 with the upcoming Champa Saga will be any better.

You've missed the point though. Its up to those who are currently alive to shape the destiny of the universe. Goku was dead, it isn't his job or responsibility at that point. He wanted to be able to pass that responsibility onto his family line. Nobody foresaw Buu being so powerful that he threatened even the spiritual world... but once he did, he made it Goku's fight once again.
Afrobacon2002 In the battle vs Cell, Goku admitted that he went all out. He couldn't beat him. Then with Buu's regeneration factor, Goku needed someone who wasn't on a time limit, like he was, to defeat Buu.
SSJ3 takes up more energy and takes more of a toll on the body. When Goku was in the time chamber he spent so long in his SSJ form, so not it takes little energy to transform, Goku going SSJ3 against Kid Buu was silly, should have just gone SSJ2.
I think buu was just fucking with goku at ssj 2 because he thought goku was weaker than him but when goku went ssj3 buu started taking the fight more seriously
Jermaine Henry Wrong. Buu is actually weak at the start of the fight. If Goku went ssj3 buu would of died by his kamehameha, but he went ssj2 instead to let vegeta have a turn to beat him up/kill him. But goku let the fight drag on letting Buu to get stronger during the fight, when then Goku went ssj3 to try and end this fight now. If you watch the fight goku says he should of killed buu at the start, and not let the kids try to take a villain down, as Goku thought Buu was not a threat.
Pepper Pig yeah, fans or whoever it was "ruined" gohan from what I remember reading, gohan was supposed to kill buu but the fans wanted more goku. I guess goku held back to give vegeta a turn?
That fight is filler, in the manga he went straight to ssj3. But, to explain it, he was in ssj2 and buu underestimated him in the beginning. Another thing is that buu never gets tired or loses energy, so the longer he makes you fight, the better chances he has. And that's what happened, goku fought him too long without straight up killing him, so goku got worn down and didn't have the energy when he decided he needed to end the fight.

ok question, why did it seem like goku was doing better against buu as a SS1 than SS3, isn't SS3 better? or was he fatigued by that point.
SSJ3 takes up more energy and takes more of a toll on the body. When Goku was in the time chamber he spent so long in his SSJ form, so not it takes little energy to transform, Goku going SSJ3 against Kid Buu was silly, should have just gone SSJ2.
I think buu was just fucking with goku at ssj 2 because he thought goku was weaker than him but when goku went ssj3 buu started taking the fight more seriously
Jermaine Henry Wrong. Buu is actually weak at the start of the fight. If Goku went ssj3 buu would of died by his kamehameha, but he went ssj2 instead to let vegeta have a turn to beat him up/kill him. But goku let the fight drag on letting Buu to get stronger during the fight, when then Goku went ssj3 to try and end this fight now. If you watch the fight goku says he should of killed buu at the start, and not let the kids try to take a villain down, as Goku thought Buu was not a threat.
Pepper Pig yeah, fans or whoever it was "ruined" gohan from what I remember reading, gohan was supposed to kill buu but the fans wanted more goku. I guess goku held back to give vegeta a turn?
That fight is filler, in the manga he went straight to ssj3. But, to explain it, he was in ssj2 and buu underestimated him in the beginning. Another thing is that buu never gets tired or loses energy, so the longer he makes you fight, the better chances he has. And that's what happened, goku fought him too long without straight up killing him, so goku got worn down and didn't have the energy when he decided he needed to end the fight.
