You expressed concise clarity, a nice tutorial pace, and the graphics/screen was spot on! Thank you. Must look at your other offerings as well. Subscribed and activated notifications. Thank you!
wow, I'm really impressed with how far FreeCAD has come in the last 2 years! Thank you very much for this. PS, your constraining techniques are well developed and I learned some neat tricks watching this video :)
Bro I have ADHD and been watching cad tutorials unsuccessfully for like 15 years and I loved this video. (I like to skip ahead so often it's not the tutorials fault). But you've explained everything perfectly. I love that when I looked over (2 monitors) at the right click you labeled what it did as a deselect tool thats SUPER HELPFUL I LOVE IT. Even the little clicks and stuff nothing was missed, tempo was good. I'm subscribed.
Fantastic. I've been trying to create this type of shape to a pad for 3 weeks . Trying to join 2 circles together with an arc. Your select Polyline followed by M,M,M is a cad changer. Great work. Can't wait to try my other ideas......................
Been drawing with FreeCAD for a few months ……never saw the poly to arc trick. Very very good starter video. Great voice, pace, content so as not to over whelm the new user. I would like to see a better mouse symbol on screen …not easy to follow the current one. And on all fairness you may already
This is the first vide of yours I have seen, but alone judged by this is you a great teacher, have a great pace and a voice that simply is a joy listening to!! Thanks for sharing! :-)
Excellent tutorial. Just one thing that might help Mac users. at 1:42 he says to "click" to create and complete the circle. I found that clicking did not work to start and complete the circle, but shift-clicking did. So this is minor but I thought I'd mention it in case anybody gets stuck with their particular system and/or mouse.
Thank you so much, I just wanted to get started, have some background knowledge from past, just learning to use free cad, super, clean, intuitive, easy to follow tutorial and gets me up to highway speed with all the range of tools you used!
I guess I know why people consider you a bit too fast... It was because of the first video of the series, it was hard for anyone cutting the teeth on FreeCAD (me included) to understand. But now, after some training in the tool, it's nice to watch some fast shot tutorials. Anyway thanks to you my company is using only FreeCAD as 3D CAD, because I never actually modelled in 3D and was wonderful to start by a freedom oriented tool! Thanks a lot!!!
great learning how to connect shapes and constrain with a tangent constraint. I'd have liked to see how you constrain the arcs and make them symmetrical.
That is a really good Tutorial, it would have been nice if you could have shown how to insert dimensions in the sketch but that is a minor complaint. overall a really good tutorial. Good quality sound, nice pace, you have shown where to click and where to find things really well. I will definitly watch more
Great video for the beginner like myself, I would like to see more beginners videos like this if possible Thank You for the share and have a nice day !!!.
I've now done 3 of your tutorials. I'm trying to overdesign a simple wood working item. Could you do a video on building say two independent parts and joining them together? For example, a US 2x4 cut to 800cm joined perpendicularly to another 2x4 cut to say 400cm? I'd like to see how all my parts need to be independently cut, then plan how they go together.
@@JayAnAm Also helpful is knowing the key plus mouse click combination you do. The curve was hard to figure out, but in the video you just looked at it and it did what you wanted. 😊. Thanks again, I know this is time you could have spent doing something else.
Thanks! To all those viewing, it is important to note, it's good (critical) practice to locate your sketch to the orgin/plane. Leaving your sketch "floating" is poor cad hygeine. 😊
Really nice job Especially with mouse button manipulation. Maybe you could mention which mouse mode setting you are using and the type of mouse. Do you use a professional cad trackball? I just want to set my setting like yours and get the same response. Thank you.
Hello, how can I change the angle on something? I have a small motor mount with a 90 degree angle and I want to change the angle of the 90 degree by 4 degrees can this be done or do I have to create a whole new motor mount where I create the 4 degrees?
You expressed concise clarity, a nice tutorial pace, and the graphics/screen was spot on! Thank you. Must look at your other offerings as well.

Thx a lot! Great you liked it.
Thank you so much for your clarity and concise tutorial
This is the single most helpful tutorial I have ever seen. So easy to follow, not too slow, no extra crap.
I hope FreeCAD grows tremendously in the community and hats off to people like you. thank you for making these tutorials.
I've been using Freecad for a while. Your tutorial, so very concise and easy to follow, taught me the M..M..M letter. Great, thanks.
doesn't work for me M
We want more FreeCAD tutorial
Please make a complete series.
Yes, will do... it is already in a playlist.
Yes please!!
Thanks for taking the time to post this tutorial. I am new to FreeCAD and I find it really helpful.
Hey thats great
I like your teaching style. Small bite-sized videos with clear instructions that are easy to follow along.

Instant subscription. Amazing videos so far. Cannot wait to keep learning more!
I have struggles with freecad over constraining everything. It can be frustrating but it’s obvious that freecad has a lot of potential. Great video!!!
Thank you so much. Just a nice straight forward tutorial with a calming voice.
By far the best and easiest sketching tutorial I have ever seen!
Jayanam you have no idea how much I love your part design tutorials. I wish to all of the gods that you release more! Thank you so much man.
I understand the basics now and I knew nothing about the parametric workflow before (coming from Blender)
Thanks dude
Very well explained. Good pace, good attention to detail in telling us what you are doing. I would definitely watch more FreeCAD tutorials.
Alright. I was listening to u guys 🙂
So glad to see you making tutorials for this. I've always been interested in FreeCAD.
You are very welcome

Thanks again! I had to toggle the "Auto constraint" checkbox to make that function active.

Thank you for these amazing simplified helpful videos.
Thx, glad you like it

Amazing :D All what I(noob) need :D
Really nice job Especially with mouse button manipulation. Maybe you could mention which mouse mode setting you are using and the type of mouse. Do you use a professional cad trackball? I just want to set my setting like yours and get the same response. Thank you.
Hi and thx, I am using the Blender option for navigation and I use a normal mouse with a scroll wheel.
Great !
Thx!
Again 👍🏼 (Im new for freecad)
Thanks
Welcome
when i click it doesnt start to draw something at all in any way
I'm unable to resize and reshape like you've shown and my settings are the same as you've shown. What am I suppose to do exactly?

Hello, how can I change the angle on something? I have a small motor mount with a 90 degree angle and I want to change the angle of the 90 degree by 4 degrees can this be done or do I have to create a whole new motor mount where I create the 4 degrees?
Do you have a video where you render it to print on a 3d printer?
Many thanks, I am trying to use arc after pressing m three times but it's not working can you help me please ?
how do you take a dimension inside a sketch just for reference?
2:20 I don't understand the constraint part, it doesn't work for me and I'm on 0.20.2
how too add text on the round shape or on the box for example ???
Ist there an easy Connection to Blender for a better shading and printing of these constructed objects ? Sry If the question is stupid, i am beginner.
For printing you could just export the model to STL format for instance and then import it to your slicer app.
@@JayAnAm thx. And pls Go on with your good Work.
@@Haselreiser :-) Will do
What do you mean press M 3 times? It simply doesn't work
I have to ctrl + click for all these things to work
how are youable to zoom in?
Way too much mumbling, too many shortcuts with zero explanations.
