Katya, I love your honesty! Dior has definitely dropped the ball on a number of high quality products which has turned many away, including myself. I haven't bought any Eye Quints from them since the reformulations. The pigment is simply no longer there, especially when compared to exceptional products from other brands that are cheaper to buy. I still love the Maximiser, yet I already have so many to use up. I'm not at all impressed, yet again, with the lack of pigment in all of the lip products. Only the Bronze caught my eye. The others didn't interest me at all. That so-called Pink-Lilac Blush didn't even appear on my television screen! I did like the more subtle peach blush and felt the brighter one would be far too bright on me. As I mature, I do prefer a more natural look, especially on my cheeks. If I'm going to glam up a look, it will be via eye make-up or lipstick. As far as I'm concerned, Lethal Cosmetics, the Berlin based Indie Brand has the best Glow Blushes on the market. The pigment will blow your mind! As much as I love my luxury make-up, I'll only ever invest if it has quality or else it's simply a total waste. The only items that I've bought from Dior this year are the Addict Lip Cases and Addict Lipstick Refills, plus the Backstage Smokey Essentials Eye Palette. Nothing else has interested me at all. Not even tempted me to buy. I was so impressed with Peter Philips throughout 2022 that I purchased every single Limited Edition Eye Quint - except at Christmas, Backstage Eye Palettes and many other beautiful and well made products. Now, it's really only the Addict Lipsticks and Cases that hold my interest. What does that say about Dior? On the other hand, Chanel has started to lift its game. I've never bought a Highlighter from Chanel before, yet did so at Christmas and earlier this year, along with the Baume Essential in Mermaid Glow. It will be interesting when Chanel has reformulated their eye-shadows! With so many luxury brands launching Beauty Ranges, the competition is growing and these newer brands are much better quality than both Dior and Chanel. They're going to be needing to watch their backs. Why would I want to pay for sub-standard products when I can easily turn to Prada, Burberry, Givenchy, Guerlain, Byredo etc. Love your earrings by the way, Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

I'm continually asked to write books, start creating videos, continue to write my long comments etc. on endless subjects. Unfortunately, my health is the drawback that prevents me from doing these. I’ve found the Dior addict lipstick only last about 15 minutes on my lips, and it feels horribly sticky, and smudges all over if I’m not careful. I have the same problem with Dior rouge lipstick, but funnily enough, not with the mini free sample they sent. Why is that? Up until about 2021 I had used Dior lipsticks every day from about 2008. The containers were beautiful, just for the basic lipsticks, but now they’re black plastic. The old lipsticks still look great, so it’s not that my lips have changed. I’ve tried MAC lipstick and that’s like the old Dior, but I’ve not found the right colour yet.
@@marinka424 The Addict Lipsticks are the only ones I use from Dior. I've had similiar problems with a few other lipsticks, the worst was the Chantecaille Lip Chic that everyone raves about, but it moved about everywhere, a disaster never to be repeated. Although, their lip balm from a few years back was so good I bought a back-up, due to being limited. I find the YSL Volupte can be 'slippery' if the lips aren't primed, waxed around the edges and lined! I love The Bold and Rouge Pur Couture but I won't be going near the Candy Glaze etc. as they would most likely be a mess. I have terribly dry lips and always using lip balms throughout the day, although after trying my new Rabanne's, won't be going near Dior's Glow Balms again. I like the Maximisers and Serum, yet finding other products are doing very well too. I've been loving Burberry Lipsticks, Prada, Givenchy, Shiseido, Gucci, Valentino etc. and they've all performed brilliantly. I've been moving away from Chanel and Dior due to the prices rising so much and they aren't satisfying me as much as these other brands. I love those little sample lipsticks! I have quite small lips and these suit me great. Much easier for the handbag too. Keep trying, and I'm sure you'll find your next perfect lipstick. I love the packaging too and Dior just doesn't live up to the price in black plastic. You should see the stunner I gave from other brands! Just gorgeous. I went on a spree a few years back to try out newer brands to myself and discovered many products that I'm very glad I found. Maybe, this could be on the agenda? Best of luck.💖💄

I’ve been using Dior since 2008. Back then, their lipsticks and compact foundations were wonderful. I was always disappointed with the eye products. However, about 2018/19, the compact foundations and lipsticks went wrong, and have continued to get worse and worse. All I can assume is that they got cocky, thinking they’d got their customers hooked, and could make all their products cheaper, and the customer would just stay with them. It’s the only explanation I can think of,
