Considering that Bowser’s fight is a lot like Tiki Tong’s, I can easily tell where Wonder’s inspiration came from. Then again there are a lot of Mario bosses with floating hands.
Don't forget kirby has those bosses too
Didn’t forget but I’ve only played Mario Odyessy and DK’s floating head and hands boss fight.
floating head and hands bosses have been a staple of nintendo games for decades. they appear everywhere
At Least They Didn’t Just Megasize Bowser Himself Like The Unoriginal Pieces Of Crap They Are.
They were cooking so hard with the game that they forgot to add actual bosses.
I think the reason Bowser has the switch under his chin is when he fused himself with the castle, he fused himself with the switch after every classic mario bridge. Y'know, the one where ya gotta make it to the other side to make bowser fall?

Regarding the Wonder Flower Bosses, they are not actually bosses, they survival modes

It's kind of funny how the Wonder events are the unique bosses.
But some don’t even attack the player and you don’t attack it(*cough* King Boo)
they made a game that will be remembered as one of the greats
They really outdone themself with that game omg
They did say that boss battles would be more involved in this game.
Mario wonder : great stages, nice new mechanics, dissapointing bosses (at least with the koopalings we had some variety, even if they were easy)
But at least the bosses have unique phases so that’s something.
And the insane amount of new enemies is also a pro.
Am i the only one who thinks that the final boss is awfully similar to Tiki tong battle in Donkey kong country return?

I got this game just earlier today and I mean that new Mario actor I think he did a great job sounds different but it works
I honestly think people dont give Jr enough credit. Each fight is unique and uses the wonder effects very well. If the argument is that youre fighting the same boss... well than what about literally anything that you repeat? Same characters on the adventure, same general title for each game, you're constantly going through stages, its the same villain, other characters were already in other games. Video games revolve around repeating certain things. Simply because character of which you are visibly fighting is the same doesnt mean the fight isnt different.
Exactly, each Jr battle has its own design and challenge; and they are all fun to play. If there is a boss that disappoints, it is the airship boss.
The fact the Cosmic Clone returns better than it was in Galaxy and 3d land has me floored

I managed to unlock the castle where you face Bowser Jr I haven't faced him yet
Absolutely love this game. Amazing graphics and variety, top tier character roster, and some amazing creativity that combines all previous games…
However the story and bosses are completely not memorable. Bowser and Jr. Realllly ruined this imo. I think years from now people will remember this as the rock concert boss battle event, but that’s about it for story.
What’ll be remembered is how we got a character roster we’ve always wanted, some beautiful landscapes and expansion of lore, and probably the best creative freedom we’ve ever seen in a Mario 2D platformer.
I wouldn't say that 2 toads/4 yoshis is the roster we all wanted, but daisy finally being playable in a mainline mario game is great. No idea why they didn't replace 3 of the yoshis and 1 toad with wario, waluigi, rosalina and pauline, and just have the toads/yoshis be skins but... Oh well.
@@darcidious99well they didn’t use Waluigi because Camelot made Waluigi, not Nintendo. Nintendo doesn’t like using characters that they don’t fully own, hence why we rarely see people like Popple in the main series. Wario has largely been relegated to villain status as well, so Nintendo would’ve had to create a motive for him to work together with the guy he declares to be his arch-rival. No idea for rosalina and Pauline though. I guess they’re just in spin-off hell atm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Rosalina was in 3D World and Pauline was in Odyssey.
@@avocadeous I mean tbf mario stories are extremely barebones anyways, could easily just have bowser destroy wario's castle or steal money from him and have that be the motive. But if they had to replace wario/waluigi I'm sure there are other options they could pull from. Hell i know nintendo has basically retconned toadsworth being a character since he doesn't exist anymore but he'd at least be a unique toad variant like toadette. Then maybe have a pianta/noki from sunshine or something idk, anything but just pallette swaps. That should only be for like skins you can buy through an in game shop like the badges.
Of course with the exception of nabbit/yoshis all the characters are fundamentally identical i think so... Not the biggest deal in the end, just a really weird decision they made.

They spent too much time fussing on the new power ups and badges and whatnot that they just used Jr for every boss before Bowser, just at least use the Koopalings again for goodness sake
But, I really liked that final boss, Castle Bowser rocks!

Cool video but the wonder effect enemies aren’t bosses. The only bosses in this game are Bowser Jr and Bowser.
The only thing that was pretty disappointing was the bosses cause I mean there’s technically only one and that’s bowser junior and he wasn’t even in every world
