Thanks for your practical advice! I just purchased an L 890, and your tip to use blue painter tape is most helpful - especially as I'm in my senior years, looking forward to many happy hours of sewing on this great machine.

I absolutely love the Right Seam Guide. It makes it so easy to line up your fabric as it goes under the presser foot. And, BTW, that seam guide comes with the L850, 860, and 890. We just upgraded from the 850 to the 890 as a Christmas present to ourselves. I loved the 850. Can’t wait to discover all the nifty cover stitch functions of the 890.

Ha! I knew I should have removed it for this video. I travel to present events and mark my feet and supplies with the blue tape so they are identified as mine and I don't lose them.
