As an American I just think it’s an unfair comparison? World sport vs a singular country sport. “Super Bowl is the most watched game in the world” isn’t a talking a point I hear either. I think a better comparison is the UCL final, however it’s a bit more skewed because Europe has double the population of the US.
@@karbine9818 im not saying american football is a shit sport, but americans thinking football and american football are even somewhat comparable popularity wise is nuts. UCL final is definitely more watched than the superbowl bro. These stats show it, and also the stats don't even capture the whole picture ESPECIALLY for football. Almost everyone in the world watches the UCL final man, whether it be through illegal streaming, at a friend's house, restaurant, big screen on the street, etc. go to any country on planet earth except america and canada and ask a 12 year old if they know messi and ronaldo. africa. asia. europe. south america. anywhere man trust me. People who have lived in the "football culture" get it. they understand why this comparison is frustrating for non-americans to listen to, because americans can't even fathom how popular football is.
@@darfoz8807 I wouldn’t say the whole world. From sites like the Associated Press estimate the 2023 UCL Final had around 450 million watching it? Obviously 3 times more than this years Super Bowl. I think in general a broadcast of a game catered to one specific region that has a significantly high population is going have more viewership.

Bro just compare super Bowl with IPL. YOU WILL KNOW WHO IS THE REAL KING 😏😏😏
Is he tryina compare America to the entire world?
People are saying what about pirated websites. But what about pubs where they might count as like 5 viewers even though there’s almost 100 actually watching it cause I bet they aren’t included properly
But also the World Cup is so huge that it’s hard for it to have its entire audience watching at the same time because of time zones. If everyone lived in the same time zone (or close to it) like in the US, I’m sure the numbers would be even bigger.
