Big negativ point is that it just got 110db spl instead of 140db on the first gen. That reflect in heavy distortion in windy conditions and also useless for recording loud car audio or drums
The Sairen has a dreadful thud, very obvious….The rode 2 is being delivered today. And i have rode mic pro plus sitting here brand new for my husband who does more prof stuff than me. Will be interesting if he can tell the difference.

Hey yes when we did all of our videos the wind wasn't too bad. I might do an update video in the wind, as I've seen a few videos on this
Does rode 2 have wind noise cancellation ? And which camera lens did you use?
Yes it does. we we use a 16-35mm f2.8

All of the small microphones had echo or reverb in the studio as compared to whatever you were using before (lavalier? studio mic?).
Hey yes we are in a very echoey small back office, that’s why I always use a lav it’s by far the best type of microphone for voice 👍

Yes, it does a little you really have to manage the cables as well which is a little frustrating

To my ears the micro 2 was the worst of the bunch. For the price the Joby was quite a bit better.
