Great presentation. I am a descendant of the original founders of Wake Forest Manual labor institute. Many of our family members built Wake Forest and Duke University!
I was interested in this presentatiom because "Blount" is one of the surnames in the family of my grand-daughter's paternal mother's family. This family was from Georgia. I also show a slave owner as a John T. Blount in Talbout County, Georgia. He had 36 enslaved shown on the 1860 census. I don't know if these are the same Blounts. Great information, Thanks.
