When you use - ssi at the end of someone's name it's like you putting mister before calling someone.
Yeonjun did not like that because they are friend so he wants kai to use hyung(big bro) or just his name without honorific.
Kai ends up by calling him Yeonjun-noona(big sis) 😂😂

The funny thing Jungkook started calling Jimin "Jimin- ssi" and Jimin found it hilarious and now I've noticed that other BTS members will call each other "ssi" like it's completely normal and nobody cares LOL I really am baffled why Yeonjun couldn't laugh it off as Kai meant no harm 😄
Also just fyi to Tianna "hyung" is a term that could mean actual brother but it's also just what a younger person calls a close older male friend. Since there's no age hierarchy term in English that's equal to that, "older brother" is the next option.
@@LesEXO2012 I mean just because Jimin didn’t have a problem with it doesn’t mean Yeonjun or anyone else will automatically be okay with it… the other TXT members don’t mind it as well but everyone’s different… we know that Yeonjun is an only child and he’s super excited to have TXT as younger brothers maybe (like he said) it rubs him the wrong way how formal it sounds… reminds him that the company put them together you know… just the same other people might be more bothered by being called noona but Yeonjun was perfectly okay with that…in fact Kai started calling him that a lot while his hair was longer…different strokes for different folks
TXT really is hilarious, TXT are coming back on the 17th of August, I hope you check out more of their music in the future

He is the oldest so wants to called hyung.hyung (older brother).he get mad when they call him his name.
oh no it is not in this case though:
he was not getting mad about that~he not serious about even saying _hyung at times ;
he said saying ~ssi in end of his name sounds too cold & distant; it is way too formal; it is meant for a professional or formal settings &/or could be used for way older people or a superior & people you are not close to ~it is equivalent to saying mister or sir _if you said that to a sibling or close friend in a casual setting it is just weird & makes you feel like you are at the office/work;
it sounds off and distant. (If they were at a really formal tv broadcast & that was the custom way of talking he would not care if kai did that but for a casual vlive~it was too off putting for him and/or makes him feel way older than he is which they have a trend of teasing him about being the oldest in general anyways.
They are too close for that ~ssi stuff.
In kai’s perspective he sometimes treats & utilizes vlives as a professional/formal platform like a broadcast and since it is a third party platform & not theirs or their company’s he sometimes struggles to drop excessive formality that they are used to when going on actual broadcasts that airs on tv. He is just forgetting to separate the two & that he tries to remember he is free to just be casual here & not bother with stressing over these things
