I like this machine, but here are the concerns: @8:38 Those external hydraulic lines are not wrapped in kevlar. Not good for sun damage. Sticks, Trees, brush all start clawing at them. Is it pack rat proof? Or can rats enter the engine and chew up wire, ac lines? Once you tilt cab forward, can you blow out the engine bay with a pressure washer and are their drain points? Where is the Engine Air / Cab Air Filters? How do you replace the battery? That upside down oil filter is going to make a mess. Where is the oil pan drain plug? Backup camera?
I'm a jcb tech I've haven't seen may rats making a meal out of that gen of machine wiring harness hydraulic system or ac. 2 I was workng on a machine ine from a hog farm probably had around 200 extra pound of hog shit in it and once you drop the access panels in the belly pan its easy to clean out 3 air filter is easy no problem cab ilter is lift the arm up and cab up real easy just dont lose the o ringx for the middle place ece of metal 3 battery is just as easy as air filter 4 oil filter I haven't had a problem with it at all 5 oil drain plug is flopping around n a hose in the belly pan area like a bobcat 6 back up camera Over all they are pretty good I like them more than bobcats in the same power range I wish they had bigger higher power options think they are comparable to a t76 with a 3ts if they could get to above an 870 lifting power and I had use fr a skd steer or ctl I'd buy one in a heart beat. I've loaded a trailer with a pallet of odds and ends it makes loading pallets so damn easy I can't go back now.
If you have rats in your area they will enter any piece of equipment. There no piece of equipment with sealed engine compartment on the planet. They need to be vented. Clown piece
Oh for sure and I've been in training for it 3.1 the black cover on the plastic cpver on the condenser is a 3.0 series is yellow 3.1 Is black cover and 3.2 has a touch screen similar to case skid steers 3.0 had minor changes for the software and some mechanic quality of life things. Also if I remember correctly you can extend the boom while running auxiliary hydraulics on 3ts don't quote me on that
@@ianthompson2802yes you can run low flow only with boom extended . 3.1 has updated joysticks, very smooth controls, 3.2 joysticks are adjustable from screen also , larger front window.
I have to say that with first hand knowledge that JCB is the worst piece of equipment ever made,hands down and I wish to state that it shows in retail used sales as well.
Asked JCB and it's about $115,000 and 8% financing ! I'll buy a Kubota with 25 more HP, $28,000 less and 1.99% financing. I'll just deal with no tele boom
they need to be bigger. lots more legroom. they need twice as much power, then it would be great. the door is a really big safety deal. love that and would buy for that reason alone, but to upgrade, need way more leg and foot space, and 200 +hp would have me buy two three more.
They are only 74 hp if they got to 120 and had a flow rate of 60 gpm they would be comparable to a bobcat t86 and if they had the roc f it they could steal alot of business from the other equipment dealers
@rontopping2048 when the usa maks us go to teir v the dick measuring will begin. They have been working on a new generation of engine for tier v best part Europe is being the guinne pig for it I have looked into complaints on that engine and haven't seen any major issues on it
@@ianthompson2802 the way we have to move the machine around lends itself to a bigger stronger machine. a lot of our construction workers are big fellows. so the thought is they may as well be comfortable cause they may be in there 5 hours at a time. the power for way more pushing and lifting but mainly for a faster stronger flow rate.
That's neat, it is too bad that JCB parts are the biggest ripoff out there. Cat and JD have been cheaper to maintain and repair. I'll never own another one.
First time I take it in the woods I'm gonna tear those lights off, the antenna is gonna go bye bye and one good pine or oak branch will peel the roof back... No thanks.
I've seen a guy that was alot of beers deep and just broke the window on the front and somehow broke a joy stick. Rent one you'll have hell trying to get that cab to open up. With the lights we had a union contract go bad for a place that's the only timevo had to replace lights and when the machines were In east stl so take that as you will. I've haven't seen any lights busted other than a company that runs the machines in East stl and sometimes leaves them in East stl and absolute dumbasses and the machines have more than just that plastic piece damaged and lights.
I just don't like that single boom design. I can see how one of my dumbass employees would hit something hard with the left side of that bucket and twist the entire boom. No thanks I'll stick with my dual arm machines.
@@frannysforest I agree 100%. Just seems like a real bad idea to have only 1 arm picking up a bucket like that. I bet if I stood on the far side of that bucket jumping up and down you could even see so deflection happening.

All boom issues I've messed with have been warranty on 3.1 series machines please fill me in on what happened I'm genuinely curious what the conditions it failed it to help y customers better
I can't believe they stupidly get away with having a confirmed lop sided to the right load weight , lift anything super heavy and this thing because of the stupid non centered weight mass will flop over on the right soft or unstable ground because of the super weird uneven arm, there has to be a huge amount of documented preventable accidents because of the weird machine this is & all for even a stupid easy access to the cab & thankfully no one else is followed suit on such a weird machine. Period

@@ianthompson2802 correct only 74 hp but 290 ft. lbs of torque. Watched some videos on UA-cam seems to run mulcher pretty darn good

Haven’t seen one bent yet.
