There is a difference between thrifting and going to a vintage store. Thrifting is going to goodwill or Salvation Army. Going to a Vintage store means u r going somewhere that the items are curated

If you come across a shirt that you thinks got dry rot, find the edge of the seam and just give it a little pinch and pull and if it easily rips then it’s dry rot. I’ve found some of my favorite craziest pieces in the women and kids sections. Especially my crewnecks. I think I’ve found most of my crewnecks in the women’s section. And I’m my opinion the “thrift stores” are the goodwills, Salvation Army, value village, family thrift, and whatever your local area calls them. These Kindve stores are in my opinion a “Resell” store or a “Vintage” store. Because those stores mark up the prices. At a goodwill most prices are 1-10$ range depending on your area or location and condition.
what i hate about streetwear like supreme is that everyones wearing the same pieces bogos, tnf collab, etc..... meanwhile vintage has more unique items. like ive never seen that kanye tee hes wearing. it stands out
5:30 The flag on the back of that jacket is the flag of Republic of China during WWII and the texts mostly like were saying: the pilot who wears that jacket is a US soldier who came to China to help the Chinese people to fight the Japanese invaders and Chinese locals show give him food and send him to the closest US military base in exchange of money(most of the time it says gold). I’m not sure if this jacket is from the WWII era but if it is then it should belonged to a Flying Tiger member who fought in and with Chinese people during that time period.
I used to love thrifting until sites like depop and grailed became popular and omg if I walk in and see someone around 18-20 with HELLA clothes in a cart or in their hand i immediately leave, it’s sucks nowadays because they take EVERYTHING not even to wear, just to sell.

I told yes it can stand the teat of time but like everything that came before loses it flame..That why I say wear what you like fashion is subjective don't worry about it unless you make 💰 of reselling enjoy what you buy. You’ve never heard of washing or cleaning your clothes? Buying used clothes is good for the environment too rather than buying whatever’s on trend at H&M and having it fall apart in a few wears. Plus when you buy older clothes you also buy into the history and can appreciate it more but stay ignorant bro
