Oh my gosh I remember watching this 2009 Nickelodeon commercial and bumpers when I was a little kid in elementary school so I was 8 years old watching this which brings back my memories
I was six years old at this time. 2009 was the last year that Nick had that flair it had held onto since the mid-80s. I have some nostalgia for 2010-12 Nick, though. Memories of my earlier tween years.
So, this was the first time if not one of the first times the TEENick block was signaled dead... A month later I'm pretty sure it was quietly swept under for good
After this airing for H2O, you said it wasn't until March 2009 when it aired again, and by that time any remnants of TEENick were removed. During commercials, did it air the generic "we'll be right back" and "now back to the show bumpers?" My final question is: was the March 2009 airing of H2O the true final airing?
In Early 2009 (January 2009-April 2009),Mid 2009 (May 2009-August 2009) Late 2009 (Early September 2009-Mid September 2009) Nickelodeon Still Has The Old 2003 Bug In The USA Until September 28th 2009 In The UK Until February 15th 2010.

Oh no, H2O still aired on Saturday nights up until March 7, 2009. However, I have a recording of that last airing but it has no commercials, yet it used the Nick bug.

HI BILLY MAYS HERE FOR THE
Little did we know nearly 6 Months after this was recorded, Billy Mays would pass away.

Also this was literally a month after Persona 4 came out
Also 8:45 Her face is completely obscured by the rating... And one of the credits is blocked by the HD blurb. This is no way to treat a premiere

As I remember, Nick didn’t used the TEENick name when iCarly: iGo To Japan movie premiered that Saturday.
February 1 was when they would finally no longer use the TEENick name.

Walter always gets clowned
I wonder why shows from Dan Schneider were rated TV-Y7 until the rebrand, when they were changed to TV-G
All live action was rated TV-Y7
Well, even before the rebrand, they started using the TV-G rating since July 2009, I think.
This is LITERALLY the day i was born jan 3 3009 😭😭😭😭

It was the last month of the Nick Jr block as it ended its run on January 30, 2009
Not necessarily the Nick Jr. Block, but definitely the last month to use the Nick Jr. name.
Taking from a rerun from the episode of Drake & Josh called ''Megan's First Kiss''.
I Really Love It
