Gutted it ended this way for them but so glad they made it so far, I loved seeing them dance every week and will really miss them! At least there is only one week before they'll be back in the final, im not ready to let them go yet, such a beautiful partnership! 😍

They were my favourite couple this year. In my opinion, Nigel has had the greatest Strictly Come Dancing journey because he's been up and then he's been down. He always came back with a surprise when he didn't do well the week before. I was so excited when they were going to do a Charleston to 'Step In Time' from Mary Poppins. I was so sad when I heard Nigel had withdrawn from the show due to a rib injury because Musicals week has always been my favourite theme on Strictly. I have loved his dancing from the Paso Doble to the Rumba. 🪩🌟🎵🎶✨️
Absolutely gutted for Nigel. Nigel was my pick before the competition started. Disappointed he never got a 10. I think the judges were very hard on Nigel with their comments. Not a fan of Katya however she has won me over this year. Katya is a star and her choreography is amazing.
They were the best couple! They adored each other and their dances!! Never have a couple been done out of final and winner place!! Because let’s face it they would of got the public vote
Lovely interview and loved seeing a montage of all their amazing dances … but OMG it’s so bloody sad. 😢 They would definitely have made the final.

Absolutely love this interview and montage of all their fabulous dances. They were my fave couple this year, love them both individually, so was really happy they were paired up. So gutted they had to pull out but having recently got over a rib injury, myself, I know just how damned painful that is and how long it takes to heal.
It's a good job I love the 4 remaining couples (and Angela Scanlon, too!) otherwise the show would have really fallen flat for me. It isn't quite the same now Nigel and Katya are out but it's still pretty good. By my reckoning, they would have made the final. I feel for you both. Get well soon, Nigel! Thank you both for having given us 11 great numbers, which we can watch whenever we want!
