By the lore he can. The classes are not fixed settings for guardians they’re simply regiments a guardian can join. Saint can use a tether in the lore there’s nothing restraining him.
@NorthSeaRaider I knew shax could summon a dawnblade in lore but iv never heard of saint being able to use tether. I don't remember to well cause it's been so long but I thought the void bow was basicly only summonable by hunters, as every Nightstalker is a hunter. The only 2 in lore nightstalkers that I can find is Quantis Rhee and Tevis Larsen( who we track down in the d1 mission for nightstalker subclass) both of whomever being hunters

In year one For Honor, if someone were to tell me that there will be a Destiny and For Honor crossover event I would've never believed them.
And now here we are at year 8. Though I can't complain it looks fun.

It’s lame. It goes against the entire reason of For Honor even existing in the first place which was the ultimate alternate history warrior dream. Greed will always ruin uniqueness and good ideas.

I saw these rifts in game a few days ago. I figured it was related to the Halloween event but I was banking on an eldritch horror coming out of the rifts. I never thought we where getting this.

While I love both of these games, bringing sci-fi stuff from Destiny into a medieval game like For Honor just doesn’t match.
I was hoping for something like they’ve done the few years where the Halloween event ties into the overall story of the season. Since this season is about a viking funeral, I was hoping the skin would’ve been an actual mythical valkyrie.
Regardless, the loot still looks great and I’m definitely going to be playing that event game mode.

I agree with Shaxx for centurion, but Saint-14 should’ve been for warlord (and yes I know he already got a skin this season). They also could’ve done Saladin for raider.

I just want to talk about these skins. Two types of people play this game: People who play it just for fun, just to play for Honor, and couldn't care less about immersion with and theme of this game. To them, these Skins are cool. Then there are people like me who enjoy immersion and love this game for its ancient / Medieval theme, world, and character design. Personally, I'm barely okay with these skins, but if For Honor goes any deeper with collabs, like a halo spartan skin, it could ruin the vibe and theme of this game. It's a bit of a stretch but the best thing they could do if they continue to add skins like these is if they add a setting to disable them for those who want immersion, the setting could just make the skin appear like a basic version of the character/hero.
