Timeless music. It outlives generations of music. Beethoven is perhaps the genius of them all. Sensitively played, and good choice of pulse, Igor.

Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata is a classical, beautiful piece of music. I’m surprised and kind of sad at how many people are not familiar with it until now. Nice performance.
ppl in general is stupid, this song played on sooooo many movies, cartoons, etc but the majority are really tooooo stupid to the point that they cant see the details and make connections.

Why is it always the same piano pieces, can’t we play some Chopin at the very least?? I love Beethoven but he made other pieces besides Moonlight Sonata, 9th symphony, and Fur Elise people 🙄 I will say though that at the very minimum they finally got a classical pianist to play this instead of a pop artist.

it's an amazing performance, and I love the classics but I think it was the wrong demographic at the time. and it really just is a dark dramatic piece that would make bill feel that way... amazing work still though

I like Bill Burr's comedy. He's funny as hell. However, I don't think this performance was worthy of mockery, if that's what Bill was doing. I don't think this performance was the greatest of all time. My critique is that he held onto the pedal too long in many instances causing a distortion of the sound. That being said, it was an ok performance.
If there is any mockery to be had, I would mock the alleged wokeness of the Grammy's in having a piece of music composed by a Dead White European Male performed on their show. How unwoke!
