They should re-add unlimited stats in RTTS as an option. I think archetypes adds a bit of realism but there’s was nothing more fun for me as a kid to grow my player to max stats and destroying the CPU

What was more BS is that they tried to make the draft combine seem new 😂 they tried to say they sent SDS workers to the combine and to copy the experience, just for it to be Hitting, fielding, and a game just like the OG combine lol
they will have like 6 teams tops to choose from and only rtts and your teammates will just have numbers and no name/made up. This is the only upgrade they will do and gameplay will be the same.

To top it off they both look like last gen games. We're 5 years into PS5 and Xbox Series generation and yet to see a Show game that utilizes the power of these consoles. He's not hating, he is speaking off of experience with this series as of late. For me The Show 16 is still my favourite. I have no hate for last gen versions really, but they should've moved on from last gen 2 years ago at least...

If High School and College are added to RTTS this will be their 4th year in a row changing up how the player experiences the first hour of the game without much content later on. Give me rivalries between teams BUILDING and make the ability to switch teams, give me more control of how I experience my career. I want to get plunked if I go to the Yankees from the Red Sox or the Dodgers from the Padres. Weave some storylines IN GAME. Maybe a teammate isn't cool with how i take the spotlight. Idk I want more depth for the later aspects of the game and not just more first hour content.

I hope they don’t get rid of the archetypes. Maybe instead allow us to create our own archetypes based on the ones they have, or maybe bring in more and let it be more interactive for us to decide Very excited for Feb 4th reveal

I think they will do cards for Dynasty Mode, rather than obtaining the licenses for college baseball teams, and stadiums to be played in the actual game.
the one thing that slightly concerns me about the possibility of College Baseball in RTTS is a very limited selection of real schools with no custom option. in Maddens 20, 21, and 22, the college teams were a pretty limited and questionable selection that left out a good chunk of blue bloods, and, iirc, were all Nike schools. more than just 6 SEC teams would be awesome.
I really hope there is an actual story element. Playing pro yakyuu baseball spirits made me actually disgusted with how different the career mode is handled. You can literally have a love life in that game🤣
I'm happy about the release, but on the other hand I'm angry because I was playing it on Game Pass and now they said it won't be possible this year and that has me down.😔😔
lets see a OOTP similar Franchise mode. You can pick what year you want to start. Say 1975 and I could have every player from that year including the drafts going forward. also the stadiums that never have been in the game (Riverfront Stadium, Three Rivers, etc..) I would pay extra just for this.

What I’m not understanding is why people are calling it next gen only when the faq on their site says it’s cross platform for all systems, if you can play someone on the switch then it’s being held back tech wise. Am I missing something no one else is? Lol
I’m guessing it will be all the teams that went to the College World Series. And all the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S features will be available in Switch 2. Remember it’s backwards compatible with Switch 1.
It would be an absolute nuke for the show if they added college baseball. It would become the best sport game from EA in awhile. If it’s worth the hype! Would love to build a starting pitcher and go to Tennessee 🍊
I’m not fan of college version DD cards but I am of fan of choosing a path in career mode that includes college is awesome. They should include different paths in RTTS including an international player moving to the MLB or even a high school draft pick low in the depth chart. I think it would add a lot of depth to the game mode
College and/or high school in RTTS would be awesome! Either way RTTS needs a major overhaul & I’m hoping we get it in this game.
Hopefully they’ll step away from the same and repetitive RPG elements, and develop a new In-depth storyline
