New to Lego, I haven't collected or built anything since I was roughly 12. But I've recently had a piqued interest in Lego castle/kingdom/fantasy and Lego Star Wars, wanting to collect them for myself and my kids just like my dad did for me. And I will DEFINITELY be using the tools from this guide in order to build a small Black Falcons army for the castle we're building
Awesome I'm really happy to hear that this helped! I personally have loved castle/fantasy ever since I got back into lego as an adult and pick a brick has been my friend in getting a lot of parts. Have fun building your castle and building up a cool looking army!
Right, so its out of stock. I was searching for that wolfpack torso and wondered why I could not find it...got to have a few wolfpack guys, that new year cmf is going to be seriously in demand.
Yeah it's always out of stock it seems haha that's why the discord I showed is nice so you can get notified when it comes back. I know I'm gonna pick up a lot of the new wolfpack guy on release for sure though either way!
Haha fair point I was just trying to include a cool lion knight in the thumbnail. I had a friend give me a good deal and I got them for like 3 bucks each
Great video! Building the lion knights castle rn and looking to army build. Also, looks like the description pick a brick link for the lion knight crusaders is broken?
Awesome I'm really glad to hear that it helps. Also thanks a lot for letting me know about the broken link I must have mistyped something, also my link for Rakuten cashback wasn't working and I was able to fix that so I really appreciate you letting me know :)
the cash back doesn't work for me, and has never worked for me, and none can tell me why. I currently have a service ticket with Rakotan to investigate.
This is absolutely terrible (and of course the thumbnail is lego slop style). Who does that? PaB is expensive and it takes ages to ship stuff. Jus to to Bricklink - it's the only good way to build stuff cheap.
Thanks for the feedback. Actually PaB is the cheapest way to army build black falcons, lion knights, new forestmen, new vikings, new wolfpack and new peasant parts. Also most pick a brick parts for the more popular factions are best sellers which usually don't take more than a week to get to you. I agree that bricklink tends to be better priced for most building parts and some minifig parts as well but at least for the modern factions pick a brick is objectively cheaper so I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. Also my thumbnail is similar to what most UA-camrs use currently and I feel like my video was fairly high quality and informative so I'm not exactly sure what you're issue is. Anyways hope you have a good day :)
Where do you think Bricklink sellers get many of their specific parts? Most minifigures parts and acessories (especially castle stuff) are a lot cheaper in PaB. Usually only normal bricks and plates and stuff that is in high quantity of sets are cheaper. The exception to this are German sellers since they go to the factory store and buy some parts for way cheaper.
@@captwookie Well like you said for the new building parts a lot of them come from pick a brick factories, for used parts some sellers have multiple employees who sort out massive Lego lots and resell the pieces individually. Also some sellers will buy like 100 copies of a set and part out every and sell the parts by themselves. Other than that I have no idea.
Awesome advice! I need to build up my black Falcons and forestmen!
Yeah also I think some peasant figs could really elevate your builds!

Spectacularly helpful, particularly the URL links to faction parts. Thank you, Rio! Cheers!
Awesome I didn't know how helpful this video would actually be so I'm glad to hear positive feedback!
I’m definitely making a bunch of custom figs with that Viking lamellar body
Which one are you referring to?
Great info, thanks. Should be very helpful soon. Waiting to see reactions to Christmas gifts before buying extra parts.
Awesome glad I could be helpful! That's a good plan haha

I like how the thumb nail is of a shield that $10 a piece lol. I was lucky and scored a dozen of them years ago

Fair enough I mainly made this video mainly for people who might be new to army building :)
Been waiting for the Wolfpack torso to be back in stock

when I check pick a brick for the wolf pack, none of their torsos are there and I dont know why, do you have any idea how to help me with that
Yeah pick a brick standard is currently on hold due to the holiday season so I think that's why. Check back in a couple weeks :)
