Same here! Less Than Jake was my first concert back in the 90's. Today I was listening to Losing Streak and heard the snippet and wondered where it came from. Now I know!

I was a huge fan of "The Uncle Floyd Show" as a kid. Floyd portrayed a number of characters on his show as my fellow fans are well aware. My favorite character above all others was named Jerry Jercino. Jercino was pro New Jersey all the way and his sketch would be devoted to how he felt New Jersey was not respected enough and wanted that to change. The sketch used this song for the intro. Talk about a perfect fit. Thank you for posting. It was nice to hear it again and it certainly brings back memories. Jerry Jercino would begin and end his sketch by saying "Say it loud, I love New Jersey and I'm proud!"

This was suppose to be the state song for New Jersey. How Red Mascara struggled for times to get this to be the official song for New Jersey. And nice to have an video of the original true song other than going to Google it or Bing it on the site to listen this.

So, yes, big Uncle Floyd fan. It seems to my ears that, in Adapted Version #3, they say Millburn and not Milford. Anyone else hear that? Also, if this song is supposed celebrate NJ, why are four out of six of the Adapted Versions dedicated to towns in Pennsylvania? How does that make any sense?
