- I want to thank you all for the support you have shown on my vids! I am a very small channel, yet many people have supported me through the comments section and even in game! I do plan on quitting, and to everyone who was looking forward to my next montages I am sorry but this may be the last one. I might put out a few more before I quit, who knows? Thank you all again and if this games balance ever gets better for roaming I promise you I will be back at it with the montages!
I originally wrote a long and depressing description for this video, but I decided I wanted it to be positive. On a negative note, don't use FilmForth as your editor. Holy shit is it bad, not only did it crash many times but I had issues uploading. Also all of the scuffed flicker frames when the clips transition were from the fade to black effect. The only way for it to look clean was for no transitions at all! I thought it looked better this way but god is it annoying.
I plan on playing Throne And Liberty once it is released. Looks pretty fun. If I get into it and love the pvp, you can expect montages.

Also, sometimes time away from a game can REALLY help. I play a ton of other games, single player shit like Hitman and random games on Steam, and shooters like Apex and Destiny 2. It holds back my skill progression in every game for sure, but it keeps me from going (more) crazy.
Hope you'll continue making videos if you do wind up leaving GW2 tho. Keep us posted about TAL
Ty bro, for whatever reason people love slb montages so it might not be a bad idea for you to get back on it! And I would love to take a break but right now there aren’t any games I really enjoy, I can’t even enjoy pve in this game! I would love to come back but I don’t think I’ll solo roam until anet shows some sign of going in the right direction with balance. And I’ll totally do videos on TaL, game looks sick!
@@sylver4494 I totally feel that. I might try to find a server somewhere that's either friendly or known to be good for solo roamers - or maybe finally join a small WvW / PVP guild. I kinda just been free agenting since returning to GW2. I'm checking out AR right now but I might be on the move again sooner than later

@@KryticalError I am on AR currently and know a lot of the roamers here. My problem is that I am just running into very annoying fights constantly, while I am not the best player it feels pointless to improve mechanically when I could play a build that actively rewards bad mechanics like celestial harbinger/tempest/ranger. And to me what keeps a game entertaining is improvement, and this game just doesn’t make me want to improve anymore. I still will log in to hang out with friends I have made in this game but I don’t feel like solo roaming, even to make content.
@@sylver4494 Yeah dude I totally get it. I was laughing but also kind of crying a while back because I was playing Marauder/Zerker mix Harb and for the most part was getting bigger crits and doing more damage with Cele. Just makes ZERO sense. Very frustrating. Then everywhere you go, it's not just 1v1 or 1v2 or even 1v3 - it's almost always groups of 4+. And even when it's players who appear new, it never seems to matter, because it's like, a Cele Cata, A tanky Mech, a Spellbreaker, and a WB or something. It's just very very very rough to be a solo roamer these days it seems- unless of course you are an absolute god at the game- which I am *CERTAINLY* not.

Nice video! Do you have a montage against catalyst? I am not a ranger main so it’s very challenging for me to fight against catalyst due to so much projectile defense they have. I really enjoy playing soulbeast, but whenever I face catalyst, I get frustrated as it seems impossible to beat them.. maybe because I am not good with ranger. So I’d like to see a good ranger playing against catalyst.
I dont intend on making any duel montages with ranger even if I go back to roaming, but in general celestial catalyst beats soulbeast. They gain energy whenever they hit a target, and when your pet is active they can farm energy for free. So it forces you to perma merge, which is not viable because you need to unmerge for boon access and your pet utility/damage is always good when you dont have any cooldowns to use. It is also almost impossible to do enough damage to kill them, as on soulbeast your damage is all burst and if you dont 1 shot the cata they will resustained no matter what you do. It would be possible to burst if they did not have the utility block on such a short cooldown, but currently celestial catalyst is a hard counter to my build. If they decided to nerf the utility block and stab uptime, both of which are deserved nerfs, this match up will be possible to win even if it is still a bad one. I can play around the reflect uptime pretty well, but if the cata is good at rotating through their skills they will always have one or two of stab/their block/reflect along with perma prot and a ton of sustain even if you dodge the water hammer leapheal (they can also use it on your pet, you can pet swap or merge but it can be hard to react to) the signet along with regen and w/e other healing they have is more than enough to make sure you never kill them. In general just run vs cele if you are playing a power build, its not even worth fighting it anymore.

@@shawnwsl nah lol I don’t plan on paying ppl to do pve with me. If you want gold I recommend farming it, and it seems the new wvw rewards are going to be decent once they fix the bugs or w/e so just Zerg around to get what you need.

@@shawnwsl I dont believe in jokes full stop. I am on AR, if you are on HoD I believe we are against each other although I am not playing wvw solo as much anymore. And if you are done with everything can you donate gold? :s
