    Both types of textile dye production are admirable, producing beautiful fabric. I really love the hand weaving way, so quiet, peaceful. I would love to have some hand woven fabric and clothes. I hope both ways continue, so unique to Japan. 💖

    Hi. I'm from Malaysia. In Malay, ikat means to tie. And what I've learned from my Japanese friend is that, monpe is worn as a work clothes, and you tie the string around your waist. I was curious about monpe after watching Grave of the fireflies.

    Where's the sewing part? I know you're definitely not dull minded but is this a series? I thought there'd be sewing. This just shows how the textiles used for the pants are made.
