Pastor Doug, I am so grateful to be able to listen to you. I am on number eight of Prophecy Encounters! My parents studied this while we were growing up. However, I strayed a bit for a few years but did keep the Sabbath when my children were young. We didn’t have a church close so we camped under Gods stars and worshiped that way. I am working my way back and wish I had never strayed. But I know God has a plan for me. But I wanted to thank you for your prayer here. You ask for blessings for those giving and those unable to give. It brought tears to my eyes as I have always been praised for faithfully sending tithe to a church I only got to visit once but never been blessed in prayer for not being able to give. You see, I have never forgot how proud I was to be able to write my first check for tithe after my first nursing check. Now retired and on small income supporting family, I haven’t a dime left . So thank you! Please pray for me and my family to make it to salvation!
I am not sure where you are presently in your spiritual journey, but just take comfort in knowing that God has eyes, ears, mouth and loving arms to embrace his children. God loves you, I love you and be Blessed. Happy Sabbath!
Speaking from experience, my parents left a Nazarene Church for a "Spirit filled" Pentecostal Church in the mid 70's to mid 80's. I was pushed into "speaking tongues" by this ritual of baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT. Male elders of the church encircled me, laid their hands upon my head, and slowly pushed me to the floor, all praying in this "babbling like languages." Realize that I was now flashing back to when I was sexually abused by 2 male persons who had tied me up, then hit me in head and knocked me unconscious and I came to as they were talking about burying me alive. I remembered this as they were slowing pushing me to the floor. I was in a great panic. Both my parents were present and praying, and encouraging to start speaking. NO one would let me off of the floor. IN a mad panic of tears I began shouting non-sense to get them off of me. This was my introduction to "tonguing". I was also in great fear when I did this too. When I did this stuff, something would reach out from under the bed and try to grab at my ankles and pull me to the floor! I remember my sister screaming when this "invisible thing" grabbed at her feet! It happened to my brothers too. Someone we had summoned up a demon. NOW the Elders said "your daughter is demon possessed." This plunged me into deep depression. I was about 13 years old. I remained in a suicidal depression through age 25! I finally sought mental health help! I remained depressed and sad until meeting with SDA Bible workers in 2007 of October, and establishing a routine Bible study with them in January of 2008. WE studied together through December of 2008--and I started going to their church in October of 2008. I became a member in May of 2009. IN February of 2009--I was completely healed of mental health depression! I had suffered from depression from age 9 from a sexual abuse attack and kidnapping which became suicidal with two suicide attempts as a teen and plans to kill myself as an adult--finally with SDA teaching and finding the truth about basic Bible doctrines which had been distorted through about five different denominations--God set me free! Finally after 40 years of depression--Jesus healed me! Today, I am no longer under depression, but understand I had a permanent injury that damaged my brain from making certain brain chemicals. I know that I have to take Cymbalta forever, and I have Cushing's syndrome too. I know that a Vegan Diet helps me with my gluten allergies and asthma. I praise God. What acted as a catalyst that almost killed me spiritually was messing around with "speaking in tongues" it opened up a gateway to demonism." Since those times, I have had ONE experience 3 years ago, when a man on the street, speaking a language I did not understand, obviously needed help. I prayed to God to give me wisdom to help him. Soon I could understand him. WE spoke for 10 minutes. God told me he needed lunch money, $5.00 and a bus ticket to ride our mass transit system. So I gave him all three, and the man blessed me in the name of Jesus, said it was so good to "hear the mother tongue of his native language, as he had not been home to Greece in years, not since WWII!! I was astonished. AS I walked away, a police officer on a horse said: "Thank God you could speak his language, I heard you conversing with him, my partner and I have tried to for three days to figure out what language or interpreter to call to communicate with him. Hopefully now he can get on his way. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open--as my sister asked me if I was done, babbling with the homeless man, as she could not figure out what we were saying. I later shared this with my pastor and he said it was an instance that God used me to speak to this man in HIS native language although to my ears it was my own language. My pastor said: THIS is what happened at Pentecost! This is the true meaning of "speaking in tongues." I felt so delivered. All doubts were removed finally that God really did care for me, and used me to help someone, in HIS way, teaching me HIS way. I am no longer afraid. Praise Jesus. In the time of Moses, the work of God was to believe in Moses, the living prophet among his people. In the time of the Lord Jesus Christ, the work of God was to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the living Prophet among his people. And today, the work of God is to believe in Prophet Kacou Philippe, the living prophet in the midst of this generation. The work of God, it is John 6:28-29. @@EricSaavy Interesting that in context what Paul was talking about was the handwriting of ordinances in Corinthians 2:14 : Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; It is handwriting and is also talking about something that was against us. In Deuteronomy, it states: And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. Deuteronomy 31:24 - 26 KJV The book of the law, which contained the ceremonies, feast days, and the sacrifice ordinances within it, was a witness against us. Holyday in that passage from the Greek was talking about feast days. There is a promise for keeping God's holy day: If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isaiah 58:13 - 14 KJV It is meant to be a delightful and joyful day with the Lord and our brethren in the faith.

@@EricSaavy You know that Jesus kept the sabbath. Was he warning himself? This was referring to people that professed a pure faith in our God but were not true Israelites, hence they were not truely converted. They professed godliness and thought they had sight, but in reality, they were only blind to their lost state. What is wrong with sabbath keeping then if it was promised to be a delight?
Robt Clayton, The only day that God blessed and made Holy was the 7th day, Saturday, no other day has ever been sanctified as the day of rest! The fourth commandment, to Remember the Sabbath day, is the longest of all the commandments, and it is very specific in what day one should set aside as the day of rest! God calls Sunday (the first day of the week) a working day in Ezekiel 46:1. God created (worked) on the first day of the week! The Catholic church changed Saturday, the Sabbath day, to Sunday, look at their catechism, THAT is blasphemy! The Adventist do not call Catholics or Sunday worshipers, Satan or the devil, as they know that their are many true believers that are "not of this fold" yet! However, the Antichrist WILL use the Catholic church, which is "the beast power", and the "Little Horn," that is mentioned in the book of Daniel, to try and deceive the nations! When man makes it a law that one cannot 'buy or sale' anything on Sunday, as the misinformed will try to make Sunday a sacred day, know that the end is near! Sunday worship is NOT biblical!
But pastor Doug, do you ever since, even today, I still sin seldomly, and I am a devoted Seventh Day Adventist. Ellen White said that if anyone sins after Christ leaves the inner sanctuary and ceases His blood ministry, they too are doomed like unto the wicked, as Jesus has finished His blood ministry and there can be no forgiveness outside Christ... Doesn't this mean we must develope our sanctification in Christ until we are beyond sinning???????????????
READ 1 John 1: 8-10. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the light is not in us!! IF we EVER come to the point that we believe we do not sin, we have then lost sight of the price Christ paid for our sins on the cross, and we have wandered away from God. NONE of us is perfect, not ever. The 10 Commandments are not just physical, but spiritual, so that if you call someone stupid, in essence you have committed murder against that person. So can you say you have never, ever in your mind, called another person stupid? If you desire to be with someone, then you have in your mind committed the act of adultery. IF there is an activity that prevents you from going to church or from praying or reading your Bible, or taking time out to have a meaningful relationship with Christ,--whatever that "something is, has become your idol, and you have committed Idolatry. Skipping Bible study to be with friends? Skipping church for a movie--there is your idol worship. Plain and simple. Use the Lord's name in vain? Say a swear word? YOU blew it. Sin does not have to be stealing a car or robbing a bank, it can be just the "little lies" or lies of omission. Bearing false witness. Not telling the truth when you witness an accident, not stopping to lend a hand when you see something is wrong and you decide you are too busy to get involved. Things like that--that is sin. Food for thought.
Come on 😞 Pastor Doug it’s evident that the four beast in Revelation 4:6-8 are the Angels called Ser’aphims they each have six wings,their around the throne saying Holy Holy Holy, Isaiah chapter 6:1-3 clearly brings this out who the four beast are(almost exactly like John),Ezekiel Chapter 1 brings it out too, then you answered by saying some Scholars say ...., I’m very disappointed,if you would have read the verse you would have seen it, you have a lot of followers that look to you for encouragement please if you truly know the answer say it and let God deal with rather they accept or not
