I totally love this song and since it's completely sad and heartbreaking I thought it was perfect for them. God! I'm on a depression mode right now D: I can't believe we have to say goodbye to our beloved Francis so soon!! :'( goes and cries in a corner

Beautiful........why they have to kill this love story I will never understand. The Hell with History!!! This is not on the History Channel!!!!
The end was indeed tragic and it definitely is not on the History Channel. But nevertheless the series is about Mary Stuart, who had the same grief for all her life like all the viewers are having.
Reign is already totally inaccurate. You have to remember that Narcisse, Gideon and Bash never existed. All her ladies-in-waiting were called Mary instead of Kenna, Greer, Lola and Aylee and they all came with her back to Scotland and not only Greer/ Mary Seaton. Catherine would have never had a good relation to Mary. Lola would have never been executed nor been mother of Francis’ child. Mary would have never been pregnant with Francis’ child and would have never had an affair with Condé. These are only some examples.
It doesn’t bother me since it still is a beautiful portrait. But because of the fact that it is based on a true story, the most significant parts of her life, the turning points, had to be included. To me that is Francis’ death, her return, her second marriage, her son, the end of her second marriage and her final downfall apart from illustrating the general conflict about religion and birthright with Elizabeth.
I see what you mean, but if they did that, they would have no right to call themselves a historical drama even with the addition that the are not accurate. That would not only be inaccuracy but a total new story that has nothing to do with Mary Stuart whose real life was more dramatic than Reign could ever portray with modern fictional drama additions.
