Why does he have to die so soon, now that they are finally reconciled? If the showmakers had any mercy, they would alter everything and let him life. I know that history turned out differently. But I don't care. If I wanted history, I'd read a book, or turn to Wikipedia. I just want for this version of Mary and Francis to be happy. Please :(

She was raped and somehow she linked her rape to Francis because he was not on the castle and about his actions. She was heartbroken, broken inside. Saw on Condé some sort of comfort that couldn't see at the time with Francis because of her suffering. What she did wasn't right, what he did even for protect her wasn't right. They both made mistakes, they both forgive themself. That's why I'm a Frary fan and I love this couple so much. Francis is my favourite character and I hate Mary for a awhile too but it's so good to see what both accomplish and how they're heading. I'm in love with season 3.
She doesn't deserve him.. His love to her was pure gold, but she betrayed and hurt him to death. His grief because of what she's done was the cause of his illness and yet he continued to love her till the very end. She almost slept with every man she knew, and she even overcame his death so quickly as if it was nothing. When I rewatch their monents and notice how much careful, kind, gentle and pure he was with her my heart melts of sorrow, my poor lovely Francis❤️.. He was a golden angel, no one deserved him❣️
Agreed she didn't deserve his selfless love but she slept with conde after a serious trauma. And she shows her love for francis after they reunite. She even offers her life for his! Later, she kills his murderer herself and joins francis in heaven when she dies.

I didn't wanted to but her actions didnt leave me a choice. And my poor baby Francis. I so hope they will let him live as long as possible. At least for another season. This can't be it. I love these two because their love used to be so good, so pure, so overwhelmingly beautiful like nothing I've ever experienced with a ship.
