+Teddy Dove Sorry for the long reply time, I've been adjusting to a new job schedule. You should be able to make a "Play" button for an animation by setting up a basic button and then setting up an animation either on the main timeline or inside a movie clip. You could then use Actionscript (either with code snippits or manually) and have the button "Go to and play" a frame number. Ideally that would be the frame the animation starts on.
