I understand that pain. Like an ocean of water above you and you just can't swim fast enough, pulling you deeper and deeper into this inky abyss that rips and tears you to shreds, where only you could possibly put yourself back together again, because they're gone. They're gone, and they can't tug at the threads to sew you back up. Knowing that some part of you was ripped out, gone forever, with nothing but bittersweet memories to sing sweet nothings inside of your brain, what could've beens, to what would've happened if they had made it out alive, if they hadn't of pulled that trigger, taken that leap, driven themselves to the point of no return. Its maddening.
