Hey Rick, Great vid, I have a q on how much play you had at the prop shaft at the T case as Polaris calls it,. Mine seems sloppy but am not sure how much play is tolerated? When I put a drive shaft back in a car car and slip it in on the splines at the tranny it doesn't have much movement which leads me to believe this one is worn out, but have not specs? I probably know the q but damm these are expensive to replace lol. Thanks in advance for your time.
After taking out the footwell, did you have to loosen any additional engine components to get the propshaft out or do go straight into removing the pins? I'm about to do mine and saw in some other videos people had to unbolt the engine mounts to get some play to remove the shaft?
Hey Rick , after you knocked the front pin out was the rear still connected and it just slid back on the splines then you moved it forward to remove? I need to replace my prop-shaft seal and wanted to know in advance. I've got a punch kit.

No just the pin in the front, then slide it forward to the left side then pulled it back out the center.
@@RicksRides1 Awesome. Thank you. Will be changing mine out next weekend!
What is the front shaft called the joints are connected to

Steve Gorman, no the back is free. If it gives u any trouble spray so penetrating oil in the grooves to help slide it off.
How did you remove the pin i cant make it move
Jeffrey Lavoie I hammered it out with a little punch.
Did you needed to hit on it hard cuz thats what i been doing and still at same place
Jeffrey Lavoie yes u have to tap it out and it requires force, make sure the punch is small enough to go all the way through the hole.
I got the same problem i keep hammering it and it still wont move😡
pretty sure the inside of the joint has a snap ring
completely useless video of showing how to change the u joints as you completely left out the part on how to actually change the damn u joints.
U r completely right, I'm sorry about that, my phone died and I didn't get to capture all the steps nessary. I might just remove the video.
@@RicksRides1 or update it
I'm taking the transmission out so all I needed is to know how to take the damn thing off
Knock out the pin in the center of the drive shaft in the front joint.
