The first time I listened to Headhunterz or Hardstyle in general was at my best friends house 9 or 10 years ago. His brother listened to Hardstyle at that time and we heard it in my friends room or his brothers car, while he was driving me home. Classics like Noisecontrollers, Wildstylez, Brennan Heart and Headhunterz.
At that time I mostly listened to Billy Talent (favorite band to this day) or Mainstream-Radio Stuff. But especially with Headhunterz' music, I fell in love with and still love it to that day. He's the one who shaped my taste in music and for that I'm more than grateful. I loved Dragonborn when it first came out, cos I loved playing Skyrim (still play it). I cried when he left the scene and shed tears of joy when he came back. The path he took, was the path I followed. When it came to my taste in music, he helped me shaping it. Today I mostly listen to Rawstyle and sometimes Hardcore, but Hardstyle and Headhunterz will always have a special place in my heart. Nowadays, in my group of friends, me and another dude are the only ones listening to Hardstyle and he also “grew up“ with your music.
All I can say now is: Thank you, Willem. You're one of the few people that actually shaped a part of me. I wish you the best for your future and that you achieve everything you want.
What a good motivating story, the bad thing that my friends do not know hardstyle and some who listen to electronic music, it only focuses on alan walker and marsmellon, in my country there are more basic people listening to reggaeton and I do not have any real friends who have my tastes at hardstyle
@@elaliencito51 I also first cared only about Alan and marshmello but then I found a channel named EC HD it is the home for EDM fans I found hardstyle, hardcore and frenchcore and etc by that channel and became an EDM lover and hardstyle became my favourite
@@premakanojia1489 I know that channel, it uploads good EDM videos, but the one that marked me was EDMpapa, it was my first electronic music channel. I'm very glad about that

Best Festival Moments Every year is his year. Even during his EDM time he outclassed many producers who mainly produce EDM.

I used to hate edm music since I’m a musician but after I found Headhunterz and Hardstyle I have come to find out it’s one of my favorite genres of music. Heady never disappoints it just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait to get a chance to see heady at a festival hopefully at defqon.1 one day.
